Kartik is anything but karn equivalent.

He is a tool to expose yuvika's goal to show mahajan family.

He is suppose to be a layered character whose wrongdoings are driven by his flaws. His insecurity and concern for yuvika was not that much wrong. Yuvika do put Neil before him and never shared anything about the whole investigation. Kartik being a middle class boy cannot be comfortable in this world of conspiracy.

But makers keep adding all the toxic traits such as egoistic, manhandler, liar, doubting yuvika, helping the enemy. Yuvika and bhoomi specifically told him to stay away from dj but still he went ahead. He was a pawn to dj not a friend.

For me he was a badly written character not some great layered character.

Yep , same , he was definitely not a well written character

Yeah they had a straightforward plan of marrying off Yuvika and sending her aqay , DJ ruined it and now Y will be more determined to clear her dad's name....also i dont get Gargi, first she wanted to marry off Yuvika , then SHE wanted to use Kartik's ego to break Yuvika THEN she was angry at DJ for doing this AND THEN when he explained his plan SHE SMILED and now she's FROWNING AGIAN.....like what's going on in her head?

This is so true, it's like her mind changes every episode. Even DJ too once said that he wants to break her and then send her off after the wedding and now he's happy that she is not getting married?

I hope it's not because of bhoomi it shd be something else it will complicate NeiVika I don't want that
