The difference is,

DJ gives a damnnn to Yuvika whereas Neil loves her. Neil asked Yuvika to go home & was actually worried for her since the trio tamasha night because he saw Kartik manhandling her. He knew if Yuvika don't reach home in time Kartik again gonna doubt them & might manhandle her again. That's Neil's weak point also because Neil knows that Yuvika thinks Yuvika loves Kartik so Neil can't directly bajaooo Kartik

But again, this is ITV who are expert in ruining the script and characters. That's why I don't have trust on makers. Already show is going dull from pheonix.

According to Wikipedia Mohit is main protagonist along with yuvika, dj ,DB writers might be saving him for the biggest plot twist of the show that's why makers make sure show him in every episode even if it's for seconds

Even after NeiVika marriage, his obsession not gonna end. It will increase more as Yuvika's rejection gonna hurt his ego
