I think even the Ekta shows of 2000s were more modern than the regressive so called progressive shows of 2010s

KSKBT had fight against marital r**e and MIL killing son for DIL

KGGK had unwed mother proudly raising her son and denying marriage to child's father when he returns after becoming incapable to bear a child

Kutumbh had it against martial r**e too, though wife forgave husband, yet it happened after 2 months of apology and MIL said she will forgive the son only if DIL forgives him

the shows of 2010s had working women who completely fell on feet of husband, even things like forced marriage was glamourized

Going by what was shown in first week episodes.

On Bhanu's orders, Vidur was the one who coordinated with Bhoomi & sent private flight to Rishikesh to pick up Nagar's. Flight attendants knew number of family members & their names, accompanying a sick Prem from Rishikesh. They refused entry to Karthik into flight then, because his name was not in their family members list.

Can recollect its Vidur who first met Nagar's in hospital, later updated Bhanu when one after another Mahajan's started visiting. Ofcourse Vidur was the only one who later stayed over whole night with Nagar's in hospital. He was the one who informed Mahajan's about Prem's death next day when they were at breakfast table.

Ekta was inspired to make family dramas from the first Hindi family drama to run for a 1000 episodes was created in SET INDIA; ek mahal ho sapno ka ( ironically the writter of this show was the creator of sarabhai vs sarabhai who parodies EK's shows) EMHSK was a remake of a Gujrati show with the same cast too

EMHSK dealt with unmarried mother plot too with a simillar conclusion....

I agree her shows were good and were atleast watchable in 2000's ( my mom still talks about how she loved Kahin toh hoga) but post 2010 , i wonder what happened to her

I have this strong feeling Prem did made a deal with someone in family and I want that to be DB

I just hope they don't show someone actually killed Prem while he was in hospital.

I have this fear since day one that Prem died because someone intentionally killed him in hospital

Blue; Same , i mentioned this in some EDT too , Prem 's death didn't look natural to me at alll....and it was creepy that Vidur closed his eyes and not Bhumi....even i have a feeling that he was murdered
