I think they'll play it more like someone (i hope DB I want Puneet sir to channel Duryodhan here too) took some steps to make sure things went wrong between Prem and Bhumi, and it backfired when they couldn't control their pawn Avni. Then Prem got to know the truth, and left not because he was scared for his life (that'll be a lot honestly) but because he wanted to get away from the lies and betrayal and deception.

Now that Prem's family is back, and his daughter is trying to uncover the truth, the mastermind is pulling out all the stops to make sure nothing comes out. Now, they get cruel and won't care if they hurt or kill people in the process because they care way more about saving their reputation than anything else.

The whole thing points out towards both DB and Shobhana for me. I feel like DB started the scandal, in order to secure the seat for someone else. Maybe he made Prem the CEO because he knew Dhanraj is more cunning and will catch onto his plans, which can also be why he didn't let Dhanraj have the power as long as was possible. Shobhana's involvement could be more sinister, because she didn't like Bhoomi, didn't like how her own daughter's life toppled over and couldn't touch Gargi and Dhanraj because they had a son, hence the vanshaj of the empire. Prem and Bhoomi, with a daughter, were more disposable to her, and hence the mess we see today.

That's just off the top of my head hehe.

Tbh tho, she was trying to save her relationship with her fiance (why, don't ask me) and she said whatever she felt like she had to say in the moment to calm Kartik down. I like how she called him out tho, that was good.

Lekin Yuvika ka ye jaap ki shaadi kar leti hu shaant ho jaayega doesn't make any sense. Her family is rich but not supportive or progressive, if things go bad, which they inevitably will once she marries that idiot, they won't come to her rescue. This is also the exact reason why DJ and Gargi's plan works.

Kartik didn't do something stupid by taking a loan from DJ as she said, he explicitly showed her that he doesn't care about her feelings about a person or a situation and will do whatever he wants to and she HAS to accept it. Shaadi karne se ye khatm thode na hoga.

Exactly! I have seen relationships around me like this and it gets worse with time. Honestly yaha pe Yuvika is trying to grasp at the straws. Wo kuch aisa bachana chaah rahi hai jo bacha hi nahi hai. Whatever she and Kartik had, he single handedly ruined it all. Ab kya hi ho jaayega.

Please don't call K a dhakkan , i use that term for everyone else....if we use it for him that word will lose it's appeal like "Yuvi" Btw Neil called her Yuvi again in yesterday's episode
