Greetings Vibha , Just wondering how life changes once one starts working, priority changes , we have to sacrifice our own special days , postpone celebrations for the sake of work n responsibilities.

I guess this is the way things will be in future too, one has to keep this in mind before joining such a demanding occupation .

I guess you too must have faced similar situations.

Yes Suta, which is why childhood is the best time of your life. Later on, responsibilities, how much ever enjoyable or of your choice, are onerous and not scaring you, but as you get married and even if you are lucky to have a wonderful partner, life leaves you with little breathing space. Then when the bundle or bundles of joy arrive, you are walking on egg shells, balancing so many things. Ask your mom, ask anyone, as Harivanshrai Bachchan told his son, Amitabh, jab Tak jeevan, tab tak sangharsh( as long as you live, there is conflict/struggle.). Moreover, the medical line is very taxing, more than others, can understand your compulsions, not being able to celebrate your birthday is one of them! Glad you got some me time today, enjoy with friends or family!

Do not explain why you could not come earlier to respond to our greetings, I was only concerned because you wear so many hats and wondered how you were.

Sweet of you dear Vibha to share your experiences . I will keep this in mind . Some times when you have free time please do share how you balanced family n work commitments .., for me now work is primary priority.. others will take over in future I guess …
