It’s such a shame that Alia being born and brought up in India, working and earning primarily in Indian films
and ads but still chooses to remain British even if she hasn’t spend any considerable time there.

She could easily become an Indian citizen but she chooses not to. Since she isn’t an Indian citizen legally I wonder if she need not pay normal taxes. Coz for logistical reasons she is a foreigner working in India.

Yes she pays taxes in India

But both Mother and Daughter were very upset that despite paying lot of taxes they’re not allowed to vote in India

So what if they chose to be British citizen
