Last time that Abhi addressed the engagement was right after he won Abhir ki custody....lol the way he had burst out at Arohi over the whole "Ruhi ka kya" drama she was doing....and he made it pretty clear that he had agreed to the engagement when he didn't know about Abhir.....and circumstances have changed a lot since then. Usse aage kuch nahin bola kisi ne about any promises to nibhaao any engagement....lol so at this point it's dead in the water.

Arohi seems relaxed as long as she can still dump Ruhi on Abhi to manage😆....all these mentions of people accusing Abhi of trying to take Nav's place don't seem to faze her cuz I think she is content that Ak will only keep grieving for Nav and there is no chance for Abhira now. It is only if Ak shows any scope for resurrecting Abhira that Arohi will rush to remind everyone that she is still namesake engaged to Abhi😆

But they never explicitly called it off. Like, do the families even know about the treadmill conversation she had with Abhi in Kasauli? 😆

This Muskaan clearly knows nothing about Abhimanyu. 😆

So true....lol warna she would first attack from that angle ki arey aren't you engaged to Arohi toh why are you trying to take Nav's place blah blah? But thing is, everyone in this story knows that engagement is a joke😆.....koi seriously nahin leta and everyone still keeps linking Abhira's names together - even more so with Nav gone😆

And even beyond that, Muskaan doesn't have a clue about Abhi's history with the Goenka family....Ak has spent so long giving her a twisted image of Abhi and Goenkas have also been muted about actually explaining the past since they have been busy blaming Abhi for everything while giving their laadli betis a free pass.

Muskaan's lashing out gets even funnier cuz she's doing it in front of people who have a far longer and twisted history together that she has no clue about but she is still pompously lecturing to them like she knows everything.....yeh Kasauli waalon ka talent to boast without having any real clue about what's going on😆

I disagree with this to some extent. When Abhi had Abhir's custody, and Ak was creating issues constantly, I criticized her because as a mother her first priority should be to give a stable atmosphere to her child which would be achieved better if she was cordial with Abhi. Even if she hated Abhi she should have tried to be polite and kind to allow for proper coparenting.

Now Abhi is doing exactly that. Its not about Ak, but for Abhir to have a stable atmosphere, he needs to keep quite and agree with Ak. He understands that now and is trying to do that. Plus he still cares about Ak as well and doesn't want to have unnecessary problems. There is also the timing of Nav's death.

So I think he is right in what he is doing right now and it is his duty. If after a few years of coparenting, Ak still treats him like this and still walks all over him, then he can object with authority. As of right now, yes he is free to move on, but he has too many responsibilities already. He has two kids who he is a father to, from two different women who he has been associated with at some point or other, how can he bring about a third woman into the picture and explain this mess? Its not even fair to any future partners he may have at this point.

It is rather his free will to go behind Ak. Desiring to be a part of his son's life anyhow , he is free to attempt make things in his favour, given abhinav is dead too. However if he chooses to walk away from this , he can't be deemed unsentimental. It's not his duty to go look after abhir akshara given that they were a family unit with abhinav and didn't even want abhimanyu in their lives as well.

Stating it as a DUTY of divorced person to look after the estranged family who separated from him long before , would inevitably imply that the people who chose to start a new life after divorce are insensitive to their kids , which isn't the case. It's just that one can stretch only till a point . People who give up in these situations know that induging further would lead to agony of the highest order. It's completely fine if parent chooses own self and respect over the kid, given that the kid is inclined towards and happy with other parent. Parents aren't obliged to give up mental peace for their undeserving kids.

Yep! I think this is why she is quite, she knows how her dumb sister works more than any one 😆 once she starts her Abhi jaap, lovely sister will turn back to her original self (evil) 😆

I know, right! I mean there's just something about the way she calls him 'betu' which gets on my nerves. 🙄😄 It seems forced, like writers are overcompensating because they hardly gave any time to Abhir and Akshara's bonding. Roohi and Aarohi's bond seems so much more genuine. I remember there was a small scene during Muskaan and Kairav's wedding track where Roohi was playing (singing and clapping in rhythmic pattern) with Aarohi. Just a split second of screen space but definitely heartwarming. 💗

At this point, its like no one wants to listen to anything against Ak and her decisions. So Arohi is also just keeping quite and biding her time. I am sure her, " tum yaha se chali kyun nahi jati" will be back.

And I still can't stop laughing over how CHILL Ak was that Muskaan character assassinated her openly😆

For Muskaan, Ak is like "Everyone has their own way of grieving...it's ok if you don't agree with my decisions blah blah"....for Muskaan she doesn't care if she openly says that MY pain is bigger than YOUR pain, bhabhi😆.....Muskaan ko Ak nahin bolegi ki how can your pain be bigger than mine when I lost my husband?😆

But for Abhi, Ak will have a whole ready list of grievances ki how DARE you grieve differently than me? How DARE you focus more on your pain than mine? How DARE you disagree with my decisions? 😆....then Ak doesn't think of all these things about how everyone grieves differently, not everyone will agree with her decisions.....matlab makers khud hi Ak ko itna open joke banaa dete hain toh kya hi bolein😆

Exactly! Ak is just one big mixed signal from the beginning. Now Abhi is always turning the conversation into safe zones. Even tomm, I am sure he will be the one to turn it away from "Abhi". This time, I really don't want him to fall for this mixed signal trap, he should just maintain his boundaries till she verbally tells him what she is feeling. No need to read into anything anymore.

And Abhi's spell was super funny to me, since from the beginning the Goenkas have only used him and then insulted him whenever. Now they are in the using him phase and that is it.

LOL yes, I'm pretty sure he will be the one to downplay the "Abhi" moment in the next epi....he was the same way in Kasauli also when she was doing stuff like "You love my jams"😆....he was the first to downplay and divert the topic....even when she blurted out the drunken ILU in front of him and then insisted he stay back for her to do that "nice to meet you" nautanki....lol

I think at this point he's mostly sorted and doesn't expect anything from her despite her mixed signals....he just gracefully handles it even if she goes overboard from her side cuz he also knows she is random like that and there is nothing to read into it now....lol

Like just an epi back she was calling herself a bad mom, failed mom and he was the one consoling her....but today it didn't take her a second to flip back to claiming her son tells her everything, she has the most experience and knows best what to do for him😆

I'm still laughing that makers insist on giving her these "I know everything about my son" lines when we have seen a bazillion instances of him not telling her things and she having no clue what's going on with him....lol she didn't even know that he was internalizing his pain over not knowing about real waale Papa.

I suppose the only improvement from that time is that now atleast Ak is not accusing Abhi of trying to do things for his faayda....lol now she just sticks to glorifying herself as a know it all mom😆. Her neurosis as a mom easily exceeds that of Manju many times😆

Abhimanyu being the person full of love he - always wants to share 😊. That’s his innate nature. The free flowing love he likes to shower on everyone who is willing to embrace it. So I don’t fault him to want to be a part of Abhirs life.

The disconnect for me personally is with him and Mrs Sharma. It’s realistic he can keep loving her as there are people who keep loving despite getting only pain in return. But even after all this - him trying to still heal Mrs Sharma himself is making his character a little unrealistic to me. Ya for him to be happy it’s critical that the vamp is happy. Also abhirs happiness lies in Mrs Sharmas happiness and he needs Abhir to be happy too. But no human would go 100kms within the radius of a person who thrashed his existence the way she did. Instead he’d try to be away and try to do what’s possible by staying 2 hands distance.

@bold that was one of my favourite moments of the Ruhi's. They have never showed Ak okay with Abhir. In fact Abhi has had more genuine moments with him like taking him to park, talking to him, helping him with studies. Ak ka betu is Cringe AF🤮

I have only seen Akshara talking to her "betu", about how great his super Wale papa was!!!! And what all sacrifices he used to make for them!!! Other than that I haven't seen a single mother -son bonding scene between them!! 😂😂
