After reading the update I felt abhim has been upgraded..

To be honest, story isn't even making sense. It would have been better to deal with depression differently and it's such a sensitive topic.

Abhimanyu is now trying to be a nicer person but his actions still seem out of place. Makers are literally writing kuch bhi. I didn't like the whole anniversary arc or Akshara shown as pinning for Abhinav. Had she had some flashbacks during case of missing him, it would be good flow. But having absolutely no time to reflect during the case and suddenly bringing in anniversary looks bad for any FD.

Abhimnayu should just be a bystander for a while and let Akshara and Abhir cope with loss, and same goes for Muskaan. The writing is soo absurd right now, and AbhiRa and AkshNav looks too forced!

What I expect - Abhir will get trampled by the tall teenagers / adults in the football field. He won't be able to concentrate on his sad emotions because of the physical injuries sustained.

What we will have (I think) - Abhir winning the match, moving on from Abhinav and him cheering up.
