On Rajparivar's cruelty, I'm not surprised or even shocked that they are like this including Tara.

They are royals after all. Born with a silver spoon in their mouth and world at their feet. They will have huge bloated egos. And this is 17th century when kings did use to give cruel punishments even for the smallest mistakes.

Dhruv was going to get his hands chopped off just because he "failed" in saving a soldier whom senapati killed as a "test". Dhruv would have got a death sentence if he had failed to save Tara who injured herself just to prove Dhruv's capability as a doctor. Its not a democracy and the rajparivar is already a lot liberal.

Not saying what they did was justified. But this is how they are and its would be unrealistic if they weren't like this. Question is will they ever realize their mistakes and change their ways and thinking.
