She promised Abhimanyu literally 1000 times to always put her and their children first.

She made rearranged her priorities that day. Fine.

But when you do an selfless act, you must be aware of the consequences and the price you might have to pay for it.

She made her choice. She should have faced the consequences staying there. Instead she ran away from it.

P.S. Not taking away anything from the wrong deeds of Arohi Manjari Abhimanyu and Manish on that given day. They all are equally responsible. Problem is only Abhimanyu and Manjari are deemed culprit while Aru and BP gets cleen sheets.

Even after informing the police. What if the Police were late? Then what?

Of course, both she and Neil should have handled the situation better rather than walking straight up to them. But I would never blame them for trying to save those girls. It was a difficult situation. Mind stops working.

I will not get into a debate about how the lives of children/adults takes precedence over a promise or a foetus. To each their own.

But she did pay the price of her selfless act. She did incurr harm to her own body and lost her loved one. She was asked to leave her marital home (which falls under DV Act in real world) without so much as a basic medical care of cleaning her womb after a miscarriage. She was compelled to sign those divorce papers without much choice or even time to deliberate. So how does it matter if she stayed with Goenkas or went to Greece after the divorce? Divorce implies that her ex ceased to have a say in her life. Abhimanyu made the choice of divorcing her so he should have learned to face the consequences instead of victimising himself.

Also, abuse cannot be justified as a consequence of a "selfless act." Nothing justifies abuse.

PS. I AM TALKING OF THE SHOW'S WRITING AND NOT BASHING/MORAL POLICING/MOCKING ANY CHARACTER/ACTOR/MEMBER/FANDOM.

Probably if we say this, narrative would switch to Abhi Sweating on the day and hence his hands were slippery resulting in Nav falling off.. 🤔

So exactly what did Akshara and Neil accomplish by "trying" to save the girls? Did they save them eventually?
