Akshara has no fear of reunion with Abhimanyu now. Since everything was planned, her rejection of Abhimanyu at every stage made sense.

She gave money to judge to pass judgements in Abhimanyu's favor (it will make more sense why court gave custody to Abhimanyu.) She trained Abhir how to behave in Birla House.

She paid and trained Muskaan, Abhinav and Neelama for six years to ace the acting. Muskaan ka govt. Job lagna and marrying Kairav was planned by Akshara. So when she acted she was sick after custody, Muskaan had a reason to drag Kairav to Birla House and show Birlas a mirror.... And then whole resort trip was planned to execute final steps of her plan.

Now everyone - Abhinav, Neela and Muskaan will head to Mumbai to get their final payment and disappear forever....

Everything was Planned and Har ek scene after leap. Yeh show Kahani se inspired hai...

Leaving the related arguments aside being a teetotaller myself, my experience is that usually non-drinkers are generally considered snobs and labelled as boring in parties where everybody is drinking. Hence I always seem to be drinking or totally drunk by holding a glass of water, pretending it to be gin or holding a glass of coke as if it's alcohol. There is nothing wrong in what Abhi did infact he wanted to give up legal rights on Abhir to the Sharma couple.

IMO When Akshara deserves a chance to move on with Sharma ji for being her guardian angel during the lows of her life, then atleast Abhimanyu should be appreciated for considering relinquishing his parental rights on Abhir.

I'd consider the Sharma couple lies and emotional drama as more of the cause for the ensuing mess than Abhimanyu.

Because court has given the child custody with due legal consideration but I could never understand the OTT behaviour of sharma couple. They have sent Abhir to BH by disowning him and then every moment Ak goes there to create a ruckus. It's no longer her sasuraal, she's moved on, and then how can she create a scene there accusing the members over there. She should patiently wait for the legal recourse to come in her favour, but NO seriously, a biological father wouldn't give birth doesn't mean they'll have less affection for the child right. I'm neither supporting Abhimanyu for the WD nor in favor of abhira cringe, but Ak displayed very nonsensical attitude after the court case outcome.

Sharma couple lied about Abhir birth to the world, there's no need of that, when they are sure about their honesty they could've honestly told Abhimanyu in kasauli itself. They created false pretense(feigning abhir responsibility as a financial burden) which shook the little child, especially when he heard a big news of Nav not being his biological dad it was even bigger jolt to him. They opened up the things which they shouldn't about financial troubles to Abhir as a result the lill one never told them about his ill health and they never gave him enough confidence to confide everything with them both.

So bottomline is both sides have been nonsensical and illogical but this time similar to Abhimanyu behaviour during WD, Ak is even more unruly only difference being Abhimanyu isn't expecting so physically he isn't in a vulnerable state like AK was back then, but I think the CVs are going to take this case till death by hanging and Abhimanyu will proven innocent only then for the G-clan to realise their misunderstanding.

I'm human and I'm entitled to my opinion hence request respectful disagreement on my opinions expressed above.

Why did Abhimanyu not drink with his Sharmaji?

I have partially scoured through Forums(Too bored to actually properly do it.)

And, I thought about it for like 10 min.

These are the theories with points with support or counter them. The theories range from stupid to creative.

Simple and logical:

"Who will drive back?"

Pros: They drove one single car. Someone had to drive back. Maybe Uber was costly in Udaipur.🤷‍♀️

Cons: Why didn't he say that though? He could just say that to Nav or others when he was simply sitting on the ground.🤔

Simple and Boring:

"He was sad.. like really sad."

Pros: That is his usual state... So no one can exactly say anything against it. He is always sad.

Cons: he was also sad when he drank many times. What stopped him this time?

Simple and weird:

"He didn't know the steps for Pinga"

Pros: Last time they danced on Dola re Dola. So naturally, they had to dance on Pinga. But the problem is Dola re Dola was a classic everyone knew the steps for that. But Pinga?

Cons: Choose another song. It is difficult.. but there could be many other duet songs for these drunk friends. I am at a loss though... Ghoomar is good, right? Manwa lage is also an option.

Kinda Complex and logical:

"He couldn't say no to peer pressure."

Pros: Guys, Peer pressure is a real thing. 🥺He couldn't say no to his mom. so there was no way he could say no to his Sharma ji.

Cons: But ek baar na bolke to dekhtha.. Maybe Nav would not have forced him. He never tries.🙄

Kinda Complex and Genius:

"The drink had Truth serum mixed in it... so that, Nav can confess his crimes."

Pros: See, Abhimanyu found out some disturbing past of Nav and he wants to save Akshara And his junior. He wanted Nav to confirm his deeds and record them. But the idiot got too drunk and slipped. And Abhimanyu couldn't get his confession. Nav also looked like realized something while holding Abhimanyu's hand. Maybe the effect of truth serum? Abhimanyu.. well.. he did not openly record anything.. but who knows he was being very subtle about THAT one instead of you... know...Not drinking that stuff.

(Oh! Theories about Nav's dark past are many. Ranging from being a psychotic killer to being Muskaan's ex-husband. That is a whole can of worms to be opened later. )

Cons: Really, in this show? And that story? Yeah, I don't see any of that happening anytime soon. And besides, Truth serum is not lethal, Abhimanyu could still sip some right... Why waste 2 glasses of alcohol? And Nav was kinda chill for a guy who was drugged to say the truth when he got consciousness.

Dark and Genius:

"Abhimanyu wanted to kill Abhinav"

Pro: Simple, this guy took his wife and child away. He wanted to take back everything that he lost. Abhimanyu planned it all. He carefully planned it so that it can look like an accident and there will no way to prove otherwise.

Cons: 🤣🤣😆😆🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣LOL, ROFL, Ha Ha Ha.

Even darker and totally complex:

"Abhimanyu and Nav planned this together so that Abhimanyu can finally get back what he lost."

Explanation: This theory is almost like a novel. So, here's the short version. Abhimanyu sent Abhinav to look after Akshara after throwing her out of his house. His mother did not want to see Akharas's face. But he still loved her and cared for her. Nav was a loyal patient from his past who would give up even his life for the great doctor. Nav helped and took care of Akshara under Abhimanyu's command. But Akshara flipped their plans by proposing to Nav after the birth of Abhir. Nav had no choice but to agree and Birla's house was still not ready for Akshara's return. Then After 6 years when Arohi and his marriage talks started. Abhimanyu decided to end this charade. He and Nav planned the reunion in Kasauli, but Akshara flipped the script again, by not accepting AbhiM's sorry. They decided To Ak jealous but again Ak rejected AbhiM. (The truck accident may or may not be part of the plan) Then Abhir gave them some hope of reunion by being critically ill. Again Ak rejected Dr. Birla. Abhimanyu had no choice other than to fight for his son. He could bring Akshara to Birla's house for Abhir. but then Abhir poured water on their plans by running away and choosing Nav. So Nav And Abhimanyu decided 'enough was enough' and Nav had to go. So Nav, being faithful to his dear doctor who saved his life, decided to suicide. Abhimanyu tweaked the plan to include the hand-holding part so that some stupid can think it is a murder attempt. Because, then, he thought, Ak would first blame him and then feel guilty when he is proven innocent. And that would be his chance to sweep into her life.

Phew...

Pros: Honestly, this explains so much. The instant NavManyu attraction. The DDLJ background music (Oh wait! that was not real.)Nav invited AbhiM to some random guy's wedding. The Udaipur candlelight meeting. Nav challenging AbhiM in the hospital bed (They actually bet 10 rs on their success of the plan)

Nav initiating the stupid Awesome threesome track. AbhiM just sitting on the floor looking at everyone blaming him for Nav's death. H looked confused BECAUSE he was confused. This was the first time his plan was getting successful after all. It even gives the Sharma surname explanation. Nav and AbhiM thought it was only a few months' deal in the beginning, so Nav did not reveal his surname so that no one can track him. Akshara threw a curve ball at them and Nav had to bring the Sharma surname back.

Cons: The whole existential crisis of Nav fans aside, the whole process of acting 24X7 must have been difficult for Nav and AbhiM. They will have to bring back JS to shoot these flashback scenes now. Would they really want to do that? Other than that, this could work. Anyways, this serial is not famous for logical consistencies. It's not a biggie for creators.

My personal favorite:

"Ainvey"

Pros: Just because. He can throw drinks without any rhyme or reason.

Cons: Meltdown of the forum theorists

Most probable one:

"The creators also don't know"

Pros: It was a long week, busy work schedules, and Independence Day was near. A great outing weekend. planning that plus work. The director did something after reading the script. The editor thought something else and edited it. The sound team totally did not get any memo fr these sce. They mixed in a evil sound track. The actors don't know what was happening. So they acted however they want. In the end, RS decided to go with The final edit, because, it gave them 'AbhiM is killer' red herring vibes without even trying. people screw up here and there. It is ok. This is ITV after all, no one cares.

Cons: They might repeat this. It is ITV after all. No one cares.

Raji , i don't think this tv show requires logical reasoning to analyze and write a long post. Writers are not writing anything sensible. Goenkas are doing their thing, Birlas are doing their own and Sharmas had their own charging corners and what not 😆 Am not getting head or tail of any proper storyline. Mrs. Sharma is way over my tolerance limit. She is a feminazi. I shall restart watching if there is a hint of reunion or am happy just watching clips of HC.

You pretty much summoned up everything well and I agree regarding the whole Abhi, Akshara, Abhinav, Abhir arugment.

As for the color day blame games. Akshara had a indirect hand in Neil's death and she deserved to be questioned for going to the NGO place. But that does not mean she is to be blamed for Neil's death. Neil made the decision to go out and fight. She didn't personally drag him out the car and beat him or push him into a goon to get beaten up.

Abhi also had an indirect hand with Abhinav's death. And deserves to be questioned why did he pick the cliff to go drink. But that does not mean he is to be blamed for Abhinav's death. Abhinav made the decision to sit down in drink on that cliff and over indulge. Abhi didn't force alcohol down the man's throat and fling him off the edge.

The writers on this show love to write in parellels. And becuase of that sometimes their parellels don't match up correctly all the way. One is executed well and the other is some forced setup. This whole case is a mix and match of Neil's death accusations and Anisha's death consequences of Kairav being arrested in front of the media. Abhi, Manjari, and Birlas getting a taste of their own medicine when they were throwing death blames. Eventually Abhi will be proven not guilty. If we had better writers there would actually be learning lessons for both the Goenkas and Birlas because both families have failed. Goenkas failed to hold their own and allowed a daughter of the house to roam on the streets. Birlas failed by quickly lashing out instead of being careful with their words.

Now, regarding not drinking. I do not drink socially. I actually have a very bad reaction to alcohol. If I drink too fast I start to have trouble breathing. But I can still eat things cooked/baked in alochol because most of the alochol has evaporated and it just the taste that is left. When I have to attend office parties and everyone else is drinking I just have my glass of soda. I find it amusing sometimes when I am like the only sober person there and I see some of the antics people start to do. But I don't stop people from drinking I let them have their fun.
