Love triangle

Why do all of these shows have love triangle? Do the makers of the show think that it makes it more juicy? Can’t they come up with any other story? I don’t watch too many shows but anything I have seen in last year, every single one has the love triangle twist!!!
Faltu I thought had a different story related to cricket and now it is toxic. Glum, love triangle, then and now. Anupama had many triangles. Imlie, the same plus badge ki aag LOL.
don’t they get tired of writing the same stories and the production value is not even there.
