Theory from YT user- "time" has stopped and all this (D's family forgetting them, both their fathers kicking the bucket, Tilluveer wedding) is happening in an imaginary dimension that only the two of them can see/feel/experience 😕

I'm not sure of how logical the whole theory is, but the first part (time has stopped) may be true. In that episode when the blinding light came after the D-T rituals, Dhruv's watched stopped at that time; Tara's hour glass broke, and when Dhruv entered Saxena house after time travelling to the 21st century, the clock there was set to the exact same time as it was when Dhruv's watch stopped (Dhruv notices and mentions it too)
