I know re all the disappointment. We wanted a mature passionate love story and we got this mushy cutesy teenager like lovestory. I think even teenagers these days are very advanced 🤣

But from different pov, I think this is something new and fresh on itv. Now as I look back, KA was never meant to be a remake of 1001 nights. They just used the basic plotline of ONS. Apart from that, its as good as a new story.

To be honest, I really like this Viaan a lot, 100 times more than Onur in original. Onur was like he never learnt anything from his mistake. And Viaan is completely transformed man. Yes Viaan acts stupid sometimes but we all have our moments where we just act from our heart. Physical beauty of fl played an important role there in original rather than her character traits but here Viaan was more attracted to katha for her personality. As katha said in Friday's episode "ranjha ranjha kardi ni main aap pe hi ranjha hoyi". It really played out for both of them.

People who are drawn towards spirituality will understand this, there are some life changing moments which changes your perspective, your views about life and the way you look at and deal with things, Katha was that life changing moment for Viaan.

KaViaan is less about sexual tension and raging hormones and more about changing perceptions and developing understanding. Their story is a slow burn, not in sexy way but in a mature way.

Both of them I understand are in their 30s, had so many experiences which made them who they are now. At this point of life, I dont think one gives importance to physical aspects. The warmth, the companionship matters the most.

At this point, one already has set standards to deal with a situation and its less likely that one will behave irrationally. Like when Viaan knew about teji' truth, I was expecting a heated argument between them where we will see glimpses of old viaan but they really surprised me by very tonned down act. But then I realised, this is who Viaan is now, a mature, understanding man who can get upset and frustrated but can never create unnecessary drama.

I agree that sometimes the show appears as very slow and boring but actually it is not. I will blame this to our conditioning for all these years by ekta kapoor's shows and other crappy shows. We are so accustomed to expect some weird twist and turns, high points and some "dhoom tana nanan" moments that we find linear, life like storyline of KA as bland and boring.

The show could have been better, yes, there is always chance of improvement, but KA is breaking so many stereotypes on tv by getting love and support of viewers inspite of having no saas bahu crap, sisters falling for same man, fl turning to nagin, makkhi and God knows what creature. Its a welcoming change for itv.

Probably Katha called him urgently to give this good news about aarav when viaan was in toilet. And because viaan can't say no to katha so he came without finishing his necessary business in toilet 🤣
