Basically, never? Considering the flagship show is still airing and even now they haven't managed to figure out ki ye rishta kya kehlata hai.....

I think we all know about SPs nepotism allegations but people ignore that RG has way more power and influence and she wants exactly the same, which is why the show keeps pivoting to Shah house and Anuj is a supporting character now.

It is as much RGs influence as SPs that both Shahs and Vanraj himself get prominence and redemption, blaming SP alone is unfair when RG is the very show itself and nothing can happen without her approval

I feel giving a slight benefit of doubt to her on this is fair because if she had such influence with respect to the storyline, her character arc would not become the joke it is today.

She is personifying the character, most people are watching for which is why there is no show without her presently. But her indispensibility has not translated into progress in terms of the plot. Assuming she had a say, surely she wouldn't let this devolution into a caricature happen and also for GK's character degrading, considering they are supposed to be inherently linked for the future. Don't they have more of a bond than her with the hero?

If we go back to the time when there were speculations of a cold war, the one takeaway could be that they don't get along, so they're not necessarily going to be on the same page here.

From where I see, the tracks subtly or gradually end up favouring one character ultimately, who has also commented about his indirect influence and that is not her. Anyway, I think this is a discussion meant for another topic. Sorry, I induced this discussion. Only meant to respond cheekily to @Musketeer_95 about the so called empowerment.
