I watched the first 3 episodes of this drama and as expected it's dumb 🤣
Like majority of the geo shows nothing makes sense and none of the characters have any solid characterisation.
Anmol and her mother have been living in the states and her mother is a working woman and she still thinks getting her daughter married is the best solution to save her from her creepy stepdad . What's stopping her from divorcing her creepy husband? From the looks of it anmol has been living in the states forever. So why is it so hard for the mother to kick out the husband? No one is forcing her to stay married to that dude. None of her family members think he is a good guy. She wants to get her daughter married to a random guy within a week simply because the guy is her nephew? She never saw these two boys and don't know much about their habits and wants her only daughter to marry one of them🤢. Didn't she already facing the consequences of getting married to a creep simply because her family and she didn't do proper background check of the guy? Anmol's mother is what's called zabardasti ki abla naari. A person like her realistically won't be an able naari but is forced to be one so that the story can move forward 🤣
Why is anmol being so cool with getting married to a straight who has been creepy to her multiple times within a week? She can go back to the states and live on her own. It's not like her mother is gonna cut ties with her. Her character is so aloof and disinterested and boring. She neither behaves like she is from a liberal society and nor fit into the traditional type. Her look is not that interesting but still it's different from the usual salwar kameez.
Coming to our pakeeza male lead. He just stares at this girl in college every other day and gets heart broken and betrayed when she says she is engaged 🤣. I am like Bhai tum konse planet se aaye ho🤣
The other girl looks like a walking corpse. Like literally. Have zero Jaan in her. It's like she is a haunted ghost only visible to the male lead🤣. Even when she opened her mouth and said she is engagement she looks so dead.
Thank God the ml and the other girl didn't had a proper love story. They would have been such a snoozefest to watch.
The character of mohsin actually makes the most sense. He is an ass and he is being an ass and isn't even trying to hide it. Not his fault if no one is seeing the red flag he proudly waves🤣. Both mother and son are always looking at their phones.
What made the dadi think her only granddaughter is gonna be happy with a guy that mocks her in front of the entire family 🤣
Overall this drama is totally roast worthy. I am thinking of watching this so that I can roast it in here 😎. Every other character is a buffoon🤣
Literally you said it all what I wanna say about this another bekaar show of Geo show.
I just tried this drama because of Anmol but her character seems so off to me. She doesn't even look like a American to me. Even her looks doesn't impressed me. She plays bhadaas characters for ARY but when it comes to Geo, it always gives cowardice leads in the name of strong leads. The ost and teasers also didn't had that impact, it's totally a mediocre.. Atleast, TB had impressive teasers and Ost. Again like typical Geo shows, the solution to every problems is MARRIAGE only MARRIAGE. An educated cannot lead independent life, an literarate mother cannot divorce her husband knowing his intentions. Stupidity at it's peak. She want to save her daughter from one creep just to summon her to another ultimate pro creepy insaan..
Mohsin's character is literally so creepy dancing man.. I can't stand guy even for a second for his too too much OTT acting.. Literally, he can't even stand straight for a sec.. Ugh! I cannot handled his so called positive role in Siyani, here toh he is......
And Hiba's role made me yawn. She has nothing to do for past three episodes. She is like bejaan soul here. Her facial expressions and body language is zero.. Atleast, Ujala from Siyani is better active than her. She's playing such an inactive boring character... Don't know, how she's going to play grey shade of character in upcoming episodes.
And now coming to the male lead Hamza, he looks like a confused soul here... I cannot connect to his character till now. Maybe, in upcoming episodes he will do some good bhadaas acting.. But, as of now, none of the them has a strong characterisation.
Let's see how Hamza's mother character going to shape in upcoming episodes.. I am not connecting to her silent character here, after all seeing her as Sufi creepy's mother, I expected atleast her character not to be so goody goody types..😆
I don't think ke this show is even worthy for our roasting material... Will continue this show, if Anmol is back to her badass role... Watching it only for her... Other actors didn't impressed me much. Anmol had interesting character to potray atleast in Siyani..
