These details could be better understood in HarivanshPuran, each group had some anguish against other, Akrurji kept the paras mani, satyabhama's father accused Vrishnis for it. They seem to be together only because they would have been thrashed if they didn't. Later post Mahabharata when all powerful empires subsided and they no longer had any fear their differences surfaced

Even in Mahabharata Satyaki taunts and mocks Kritvarma for siding with Kauravas at start of Mausul Parva

Even MB had companion novels?

Will there be a time leap / generation leap in this show since it's based on MB?

Then the children of first wife should have been elder than Yuvika

Maybe she left him and unlike bhumi she never came back into the Mahajan bubble...

No I meant after that. Like it has been 20 years it's like the most obvious thing that once fire is off, people visit the place and remove the unburnt stuff. Who leaves everything and shifts

@Bold exactly and to top that the company was smaller back then it grew post 2003 to the current level.

Not sure if it could be called a novel.

Harvansh Puran you can say was a spinoff of Mahabharata (also said to be composed by Vyasa)

It is the story of Vrishni Yadavs(Krishna in particular)

Evidence indicate that it was considered to be a part of Mahabharata (19th Parva) at least till the time of Bhasa, post which it became a separate composition all together

Hopefully no

I am actually contemplating to write a retelling of Mahabharata as seen from the eyes of Karna's and Duryodhan's sons

You mean she never had a child? Isha Arjun can't be her children in this theory but a childless first wife is possible
