Just like our dear friend here, I watched the episodes on Friday. As a foreigner, I hate watching a new itv show daily because I should always wait for the next eps. To see if I will enjoy it, I have to binge-watch at least 3 eps. And came to watch Barsaatein after Appnapan Badalte Rishton ka Bandhan (that went off air because Balaji team mess up the story because of trp). I honestly don't trust any balaji shows and makers, but kya kare their concepts are good. The time I feel they are messing, I would be out of here.

-Coming to the leads yes Radhi's character is completely understandable. She misunderstood Reyansh but tried to know him, and it was perfectly clear. Rey is also great but why does Kushal always do such a role? Remind me of Bebaakee. Kher pehla episode mein, I knew that guy has a problem with his Mom. The moment that employee said he doesn't like women, was enough for me. But, yes, I also felt something missing here. We need more information on why he hates his Mom that much. Did she neglect her Mother's duty and stay away from him younger? (as he was the reason she stayed) What is the main reason for hating her so much? Where did he learn about his parents' relationship truth? Because, okay, she loved someone else, but that doesn't explain why he is so frustrated. Something had happened for sure!!!
And, the fact he think that all women are the same was new to me. IDK, but most of the time we hear men are all the same, but women!!!! However, he should not think that way because he doesn't know Radhi that much to judge her at any time, and misunderstood her. Too rude!
-I loved the past and present vision while Radhi is narrating their story. Amazing!
- Yes that jealous Rey is too confusing. I understand that they are attracted to one another, but that sudden jealousy!!!!!! Not justified. If someone should be jealous it can only be Radhi at present, not him.

Moreover, I think Radhi's parents are not that perfect, they are hiding something from her (I felt something odd). The show is also rushed, but I'm not surprised because Appnapan was the same (Ekta Express yahan bhi shuru ho gaye). And whatever gonna happen next I'm sure they fell in love (we already know), but something occurred, which will lead us to the present day, when both will meet again (my pov).

Haha, I'm glad you agree with my POV. You as a foreigner, I get you but me as an Indian can't get through ITV shows nowadays on a daily basis. We are so used to OTT content that we all prefer the bingewatching way.😆
I haven't seen Bebakee but yet, most of Kushal's characters are just annoying. Or may be it is him as an actor, I don't know. That is my personal choice/opinion.
Yes, we definitely need more insight on Rey's life story and his relationship with his mother. The relationship between a mother and a child can never go that sour just because she was in love with someone else. I mean, her husband is okay with that so I don't understand why the son is so against it?🤔
Ray's jealousy ka to mujhe samajh hi nahi aaya. There was no context on why he is all of a sudden so jealous? He hates women right? And what was that dialogue he had with his mom that "Usne bhi aapki tarah mujhe dhokha diya?"😲 --- Dude, she isn't your girlfriend, she is not even your friend. She is just a colleague or subordinate at work.🤔 Koi dhokhe waali baat hi nahi thi. It was so out of place.
Radhi's parents aren't doodh ke dhule either. They are definitely hiding something. Not sure what it is but there is definitely a back story there. I don't understand Ekta's need of having a traumatic past for most of her leading characters?!🤪

Brief aside
-You tell me about it. I grow up with ITV shows (like Saat Phere, Banoo mein teri dulhaan...), Then in teenagehood, I came back to it with Yeh hai Mohabbatein, etc (when I begin to learn hindi alone). I would tell this, ITV nowadays is sickening, it's rare to find a show that we can say haan yeh tik hai. Sach mein we are used to web content (short and good), and that may explain why we can't get along with itv long-lasting shows. I often mention this in my IG comments, why itv is not moving to finite shows, because the more we have episodes, the more the show becomes nonsense. Espe after covid OMG! Pata nahin kya hogaya with the trp chart also.
As an outsider, I wish the Itv industry change the way they shoot their shows, because the fact that they are doing it daily (hectic for the actors), explains the lack of time for writers to write a proper story. Plus, with the trp charcha, they sometimes (with pressure) want to boost the story and show barbad karde te hai ya pata nahin kya dekha te hai. Jaise ke yahan western mein karte hai, they shoot, they edit/ dub, and they launch a season. Aise maybe itv would be more successful and bring better stories to the audience because potential toh bohot hai itv mein (chahe remake kyun na ho). Many concepts are good but with time are messed up. Plus, the "new audience" wants realistic content, not those rona dona, saas bahu type, but itv is not there yet bass Sony tv is okay for now.
-Haan most of the shows I saw are Balaji's and hamesha lead kha past problem hai joh present kho affect karte hai. Unka alag hi pasand hai, not forget to mention her love for triangles also🤔.
