It’s ITV - millions issues during marriage, then more before consummation, then more if for some reason the FL gets pregnant, and if she does she stays pregnant with no tummy for over a year.

I had watched one show where no issues in marriage and even after marriage rituals but boy did they have issues in their married life and I was wondering what did this two saw in each other - it was a miserable marriage and I stopped watching as it was painfully obvious they were the most incompatible couple on the planet chemistry or not. Zero trust, almost hourly misunderstanding, him going you are not trustworthy and her crying buckets - arghhhh!!! It was exhausting to watch and compared to that I do find this show very enjoyable. The couple have a strong relationship, bond, friendship, foundation, and love. They are both sorted and have good support from brother, mother, and in laws. Neither are loud even when angry and they think which is so novel to watch.

Even the bad guys are good to watch and they can all act well. I understand that in 17th century things were different but these two are unique and I have never watched a show by this production house but it seems decent. The characters apart from that stupid king are maintained well and story is not getting dragged. It’s ITV so marriage is must although I love the concept of live in and having that option to choose but we are not there yet.

Didn't he get stabbed in T-shirt and trousers? I think they better come back to 21st century where the baddies are only interested in books and treasures compared to this lets play sword sword in 17th century. With that idiot king at the helm, I have total trust that he will screw things up royally (pun intended), That's why poor Tara is forever praying - find me one ITV marriage where marriage took place with no issues. I saw one series where ML and FL marriage wasn't even shown lol, they just turned up all dressed in wedding garbs and said we are married. It was a horrible show so don't know if that was for real or not though.
