Wonder if today's RV dialogue (of his family being kidnapped by Senapati and therefore him not being able to tell the King the truth) was said in front of Dhruv to potentially lessen the anger D would have when the whole Ravi Baba thing comes out. I know it's not exactly an apples to apples comparison, but that would be the first thing to come to D's mind if he looks for a similar scenario post the Ravi reveal.

I think it's that sang ka rang thing. Not giving a free pass to RV by putting it all on Senapati but RV did make me feel that a lot of things that he did, he did it under Senapati's influence. Galat ke saath rehkar galat sahi lagne lagta hai. Hum galat karte jaate hai aue hume lagta hai hum kar sakte hai. Kya badi baat hai. Sab chalta hai. Until we stand closer to the right ones. I think that's what happened with RV. It was after seeing Dhruv, his realization phase began. Dhruv made him see what and how a Chikitsak is supposed to be and what he is not supposed to do.

It is how he feels the guilt now of the doings that didn't bother him back then. Then be it Mahaveer's clot or the soldier he killed.
