I agree there. Good shows deserve TRP but when I say TRP is tricky, it's because the whole system seems to be flawed. What are those TRP metres? We don't have one where I live so we don't even get counted. 🤔 I think online TRP can still be trusted but the whole offline system is problematic.

GSMI also came on SB. Not many people watch that. I remember having watched only one show when it comes to SB. Kaal Bhairav Rahasya. I had not even heard about GSMI till I googled Ishaan.

GSMI tbh wasn't that great (although some folks might differ). I watched till the ML-FL marriage (20 episodes in), and left a few episodes later when it became evident this was going to be a sacrificial FL enduring taunts thingy.

Bold- No meters here either- I don't think anyone on these forums has a meter (if they do, we can ask them to keep the channel on 😃) Online TRP though is just as flaky- how can it be reliably measured?

Some channels will have whole episodes on YT

Some will have only a few parts on YT

Some will only show trailers/precaps and nothing of the real episode.

None of the actual inhouse channels (HS/Sonyliv/Voot) openly show their viewership numbers either. Some are subscription based, some will allow to watch after 24 hours, and some will allow you to watch immediately after the show is over without a sub.

In such a scenario, how can the online TRP's be measured correctly?

It's just a number that some folks are throwing about IMO.

I used to be like this before but now I realise that ITV doesn’t really understand how to do it or perhaps the audience they are trying to attract don’t like it. So now I focus on big picture and if I get 60-70% consistency then I am okay.

The one thing either logical or implausible, I like a sorted ML as FL always ends up sacrificing for some reason no matter how freaking liberal she is shown. But having a decent ML is not common. The last I saw was Sarabjeet from CS but he was married before, a mature adult, and a widower so maybe he learnt and that’s why he was not loud or all I love but will never trust you type male lead. Dhruv to me is very sorted and he is not a hyper guy who makes rash decisions which is very likeable. Tara I am trying to figure her out. I liked her in 21st century and I am liking her in 17th but I find her inconsistent although it’s not a deal breaker for me.

The one thing I cannot stand is that foolish king. How can he have a flourishing kingdom when he is so stupid? The other implausible things I will chalk it up to ITV but I even by it’s standard the king is dumb as a rock. I mean the whole time travel is unbelievable but for the sake of story I buy it - it’s just the king that makes me want to think that why can’t Dhruv and co. go back to 21st century and leave that stupid king with the love of his life that general? Everyone will get their happy ending that way, won’t they?

Right now I am looking only for Dhruv 👍🏼because Tara has disappointed me a lot by being a abla , bechari woman😡

But the day Dhruv's character deteriorated I will quit DT immediately ....

I am watching this with an open mind. I am very well aware that ruining a character is at times inevitable but if it gets to that then bye bye and move on.

I am watching for both Dhruv and Tara but you are right her character is not consistent and it would good that one day a show will show female lead being selfish and not being deemed a villain but just a strong minded woman who has the will to make decisions that benefits her. Until then it’s all this nonsensical at times drama.

If they make Dhruv the typical ITV guy I am out too. No point after that I guess.

Agar Dhruv gusse me Tara ko shadi ke mandap me chhodkar chala gaya for his beloved father/uncle then?
