Do women deserve to be abused if they priortise themselves over their husband's very toxic family? Say, marriage is an equal relationship, Abhira are alllegedly insta love, hot hot hotter than earth's core, soulmates, yada yada, could Abhimanyu leave his family and live with the Goenkas if Akshu prioritised her family over him? If she were a family oriented person, could she or should she tolerate a man who abandoned her sister at the altar, accused her brother of a murder, and iirc emotionally manipulated her by faking a suicide?

I don't think he needs to tell Ak that he is sorry for his realization to come through. Yes, an apology is required, but an apology means nothing without realization. While realization still exists without an explicit apology. His realization of his mistakes has been obvious in his POV monologues, and his POV is also clear for anyone who cares to listen to it. But the issue is that people don't want to accept his POV at all.

His apology will also come, but I don't think he can apologize right now; an apology means asking for forgiveness, and he doesn't feel like he can be forgiven, so he is not asking. He said today that he is trying his best, and arohi said his best is not enough. That is the crux of this and every leap. Abhi has always tried his best in every relationship and every situation. He is not a good judge of right and wrong, and neither does he always know if what he is doing is right(another thing in today's episode), but he tries his best, and this is what people connect to.

Most people feel this conflicted in situations, and morality is difficult. If it were so simple to be right in every situation, then there would be no discussions on this forum. Abhi has been wrong countless times, and he accepts his mistakes and tries to improve in the future. In each track, his mistakes are revealed, he accepts them and stops doing them in the future. Ak, on the other hand, is extremely self-righteous. She has no conflicts about whatever she is doing and just keeps going through with something until she breaks, and then everyone faces the consequences. But even after all of this, she has no realization that she can't always be right. That is the difference. People feel for Abhi cause he is trying his best, and it is not enough. People can't relate to Ak cause she is stubborn and self righteous.

Not gonna argue much cause a lot of this is discussed a lot. But Abhi did agree to leave his family for Ak multiple times. He would have happily settled in Goenka's house. He never prioritized his family over her, but he also never regarded her as his family. His expectations from her were extreme, as her expectations of him were.

IMO, many viewers r waiting for it...and seems to takinh quite long...

once that is there...and it is after he really realises...POV for abhi may soften for many viewers...

"Ak felt rejected by Abhi" belies the fact that Abhi had pre-drafted divorce papers lying around. Abhi is the one who declared the divorce; it wasn't a decision mutually derived. He indeed rejected Akshara.

Every other indian show have divorce papers lying around it's no biggie

It's that phone calls that Akshara remembers precisely even after 6+ years that is what the TM is talking about

He IS responsible for white day and all days thereafter

But that doesn't mean he can't be redeemed. Why isn't be being redeemed by the writers ? Is it that difficult ?

I don't ask abhimanyu to sacrifice everything specially his fathers right . But like my friend said in the other thread , he has to "earn" the love from abhir rather than demand it . That much difficult ? 😕 just act sensibly..at least with abhir. Stop his mother from acting like a loony all the time..woh bhi nai karna..

So let me ask what agency did they give to abhim ? When he gives so much power to his mother, what is it that's left in him? Blaming akshara for everything won't cut it for him

About akshara , yes she too has been acting loony but less than mother son . For her I am positive that if they act normal wih her without any snatching talks , her brain will restart . But that's yet to be seen .

Abhi alone is responsible for nothing. All of the situations were complicated, and by making Abhi alone the villain, you are reducing the story down to one narrative. Abhi has been redeemed for whatever he did on wd, but redemption doesn't mean removing Abhi's core traits and turning him into someone else. Abhi doesn't have any agency after the leap, and that much is clear to all. It is frustrating, but not his fault at the end of the day. Ak also had no agency in a lot of situations, and it was frustrating for viewers then too. Btw, Abhi hasn't really blamed Ak for anything so far, so I am not sure what u are referring to.

Neither Abhi nor Manjari are demanding anything so far, either.

No one is negative in the show.. circumstances make the person worst..abhi was worst due to Neil death... fit of rage divorced her..in abondment of miscommunication akshara made abhinav father which is totally illegal and if we say abhi has no regret akshara too same she has no regret come what may announcement of kid to biological is not Done is mistake and she has no regret for it as well.

It's kairav and bade papa started and manjari riledup on custody.. abhimanyun wanted only joint custody and his rights ..which is no way wrong even akshara wanted this and in glorifying abhinav the character of akshara went down that's all.

But a woman would marry an experienced surgeon who fell in love with them in an instant over their voice, then sends them a rishta within a few days, then gets engaged to their sister just to make them jealous, then fakes a suicide to make them change their mind, then abandons their sister at the altar. Then pretends to be holier tgan thou when the said sister resents them.

Just because they allegedly look hot together and are attracted to them. And soulmatism whatnot.

I am doubting an apology, honestly. Unless they go for Abhira again, an apology adds nothing to the current narrative. And I don't want them to go for Abhira after all of this, and neither does most of the audience. So an apology will not really hit hard for anyone. It might have helped Ak move on from Abhi, but she has already done that, so what exactly would a big apology do?
