From my experience of watching Ekta's shows, I feel that FL is strong when she is dealing with other characters but once married she becomes weak and be like dutiful wife even when the ML is not that good to her.

I vaguely remember Pragya's dialogue from Kumkum Bhagya where she says to someone that Abhi(her husband) may not show his love to her but at least he shows his anger on her.

The Bebakee one was strong too. She left the toxic ML and married someone else.

Ekta's FL are always shown strong in the start. They are shown very hardworking, understanding, taking care of others. 👌👌 Even in love they are equals. If not more than the boys.

Only when the show reaches certain point it goes haywire.
