Yes…I know this show is fantastical in so many ways and we have to accept that. But the whole concealing the kid from the father part for no good reason is something that was just too much for me. That took unrealistic to a whole other unnecessary level. That it was just brushed aside was upsetting since it was such a serious thing. I mean, everyone going crazy over Meesam and her dad together but not seeing how cruel and wrong it was to have kept her from him all this time???!!! I don’t get that at all.

So agree!

she left him for 2 years!

what would meerab have done if murtasam actually pushed his body to a point that killed him!!

🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

2 years is a long time and top of it a baby away from her dad

Nice perspective here! Her arrogance was definitely lacking in that last scene…and yes she was joking to lighten the mood. The thing for me is, I guess, that I still wanted a confession b/c I don’t accept that he is the only guilty one here at that point. She should still be guilty. A mom taking her kid away from the dad…concealing its existence…is something to be REAAAAAL guilty about. That’s why it’s considered an actual crime in society to do that. Crimes are based on society’s values, ultimately. And as much as I hate Haya and don’t agree with his marriage to her…Meerab had left him without a word…he had a right to move on. (I just didn’t like it with Haya specifically.) So, they were both still very wrong and I think that’s why the scene’s script didn’t sit well with me. It’s like they just conveniently brushed the whole father kid separation under the rug. It’s not believable, as a parent at least. I would die a thousand deaths if I found out someone hid my kid from me.

. Yes you have a point . Now let’s look at Meerab’s actions from MR point of view . Would the scenerio change then ?

Navyya, I just loved what you wrote here… I was so sad that we got no hug.. reading your perspective helped me immensely ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am reposting my comment on this . This is what I feel

I have been reading posts of WHYs of Meerab not confessing and WHYs of Murtsaum going on his knees to apologise…In my opinion both these scenarios have been written and excecuted exceptionally well … To understand this let’s start from epi 46 …. Meerab sees Haya hugging Murtsaum tightly and she looses her cool …. Ugly events follow and she leaves …. In the 2 years of separation only thing she is thinking 24/7 is Murtsaum…. Finally confesses to Saba , goes to the extent of saying that she loves him more than he does …. When she decided to go back to him , it was a GIANT step taken by her …. Old Meerab wouldn’t have , there is NO way but we have new Meerab now …. Even aunty didn’t say return for Meesam , she said return for your love and she does ….. now when she walked out she saw Murtsaum and haya in a hug and now when she walks in what does she see ….. and that sight is not going to go away that easily…. Some events of your life never really fade away , because they are stored in some part of your brain and they remain there forever! There are times when your senses will trigger it and they won’t be a delete button to delete them

Had she been just one minute late then nikah would have taken place ….it’s natural for her suspicions , that image of back hug to again resurface in some corner of her heart…. For two years she was gone , how does she know there hadn’t been anything between Murtsaum and Haya … we know there hasn’t been but Meerab doesn’t ….. now she has the choice of not accepting him , staying with Anwar , that way she isn’t keeping Meesam from the love of her father and grandmother but at the same time not forgiving him BUT she chose not to do that …. She CHOSE to go back to him , laying aside her ego , her suspicions….& that’s a HUGE step taken by her ….Meerab has always been rude and high handed with Murtsaum and he has been the one to take in all her whims , fancies and tantrums but this one act of his ( nikah with Haya ) has whitewashed every rude act of Meerab and put her above him . All NM needed was just this ONE stroke and sympathies have switched sides from Murtsaum to Meerab . All said and done she has stayed true to Murtsaum… Now it would have looked OTT had she gone on how much she loves him , missed him etc … we know she does , Murtsaum knows … actions have spoken louder than words ….but Murtsaum has a lot of damage control to do … Now coming to his kneeling down … I think that scene was absolutely brilliant…. Going down on the knees doesn’t equate to being a puppy dog . It’s just a sweet gesture men do to woo women in a cute way. And they were sitting side by side so you can’t have a conversation like that . One has to be aamney saamney and the way he kneeled , it was so special…followed by the way she wiped his tears , touched his face so lovingly…that scene made their hotness rise to scorching level because kuch alag hi baat thee…hug na karana lekin inta kareeb aa jaana. There's a beauty in this holding back …For me it made more passionate & intense than seeing a hug . It was so subtle …. and subtle it had to be because they are meeting after two years and Murtsaum is the guilty one here so I think the way they handled it was just perfect . All those promises Meerab took from Murtsaum were taken to lighten the situation …did you guys not see her body language? Nowhere there was the arrogance of old Meerab … . Those promises came from a woman in love ..they were from the new Meerab who loves her husband to the core and just trying to lighten the mood and not give too much of thought to what would have happened had she been just one minute late … Had Meerab not walked on almost nikah then things would have been different…. but now it’s Murtsaum who is the guilty one and by accepting him Meerab has proved beyond any doubt that he matters THE MOST for her and loves him with if not more then same intensity as he does .

If MR was the case, then she should have never come back period!!! And should have never been shown to be pining for him for two years straight cuz that makes no sense (she wasn’t Gaga over him in the first place) and contributes/glorifies the battered woman syndrome phenomenon.

They could have. But I understand where they must have come from. It was right around that time that the whole MR fiasco happened. It’s a wedding brand, so it would have been ridiculous to associate themselves with such a thing. Sometimes brand image is more important than fame, especially for the established and elite ones.

Once the whole TB wave settles, they might release the video. But I heard there’s some issue between the brand and Y&W?

Yeah I read that but I’m not sure if that’s just a rumor or assumption. I did see her posting their pics and BTS reels yesterday.
