I think makers wanted to reverse the characteristics of S2 Ram and S2 Priya in S3. Maybe they wanted to show S3 Ram as unemotional and practical and S3 Priya as happy go lucky. But nothing in an ITV show is ever done subtly (for example, to show Ram was a foodie, he is shown to munch food 24x7), and hence instead of unemotional, Ram is coming across as insensitive. And whether he is practical or not, I leave to your judgement. I mean, he got married for 3 months with a stranger instead of just confessing the truth to his mom, is he practical? 😆

Priya’s character, on the other hand, is fab, so far. Except for her lie to Aalekha.

Though I felt bad for Pri, still I loved the fact that Ram and Pri are communicating/ arguing with each other like normal couple ..without any hesitation.

About the car scene , IMO , both are right from their POV .

Ram doesn't know that Pri's break up happened only couple of months before..and also he did try to make sure that Yuvi doesn't appear. ...He even tried to explain the same thing to Pri, but she didn't listen (I dont blame her though)..hence the frustration and anger.

Also Pri from the start should know that Yuvi will continue to hover around .She had a chance to tell Aleka everything..but she lied..so, sadly , Yuvi will continue to remain a part of their lives

Precap dialogue is quite insensitive though

Also loved the Sood house scenes...they are such powerful performers ...overall not a bad episode

Todays dialogue of Jaan that now it’s Priyas responsibility to guard this family’s ijjat will play a role. I think the contract marriage details will be out and Priya may take the blame because she is a sensitive fool and a true baccha by heart as the mother and father said.

Mixed feelings it is indeed. But so much of S3 is a mess that it's tough to choose what is messier.

Today's episode, I was happy to see Priya lay out valid logical arguments defending her right to be miffed with Ram. It was her day being the bride (real or sham wedding notwithstanding), it's not for her but for her parents that she wanted UV out of sight, and when she can do everything to make sure Ram's mom is happy why can't he do the same. Simple funda - it's a deal. You keep your end, I'll keep mine.

All I saw Ram do was blubber on, being rude and giving uncalled for advice on moving on to cover up for the fact that he did a pretty half assed job in making sure the one thing Priya requested for was taken care of. I hope there's something more that follows his "mera ghar" declaration

Priya's life in her sasuraal is going to be full of her bearing the taunts and snide remarks of Ram's family, Ram's own attitude (I mean..he got what he wanted. Not his fault if the girl jumped in without thinking for 5 minutes how it would impact her own life ) and being the target of the plotters.

I haven't watched DMG, so all DMG inspired characters are going to be new for me. Not complaining though😆
