Bangladeshi Captain Tamim Iqbal Announces Retirement!

Today, in a press conference the current ODI captain, Tamim Iqbal had announced the painful decision to retire from all formats with immediate effect with teary-eyes.

This annoucement by Tamim shocked Bangladesh cricket fans. He is just 34 years old. (had already retired from T20I).

I remember watching him play since the time I started watching cricket, and he was a regular star player in Bangladesh cricket team.

Some notable performances by Tamim:

1.Scored a match winning half century in his debut world cup match vs India just at age of 19

2. 4 consecutive half-centuries in Asia Cup

3. Scored 15,000 international runs(highest run scorer for Bangladesh)
