Right. My first thought when I saw areeb was wahaj should've done this role. Waise bhi Saad ki toh sirf murti ban sakti hai ab bas. Aur kya bacha hain. Areeb role hota tha toh aur jyaada interesting hota. But last me ladki nahi milti. That's the only drawback. 🤷🤷

Hamza was definitely not a bad guy. He was ready to get married to Dilnasheen after his re-entry. He was not the person who was like she was already been wife to someone so he didn't want her. He gave preference to love. But I think to elevate Haider's character in the last episodes he was shown obsessive. I personally feel that he liked Dilnasheen more than Haider could have ever liked her.

but in my opinion, the heartthrob thing is kinda true so I disagree with Mehwish. He wasn’t a heart throb before TB. He just wasn’t. He is now because of TB. He worked hard to get to this point … yes…but his hard work before TB didn’t give him this level of stardom. It looks to many like he literally did become the heartthrob in a short short time. So many actors don’t get there despite their years of toiling. I just don’t think he would’ve been such a heart throb without TB, his hard work as Murtasim and the insane yumhaj chemistry.
I mean the man himself said he doesn’t have to put in effort when acting with Yumna lol… maybe he shot himself in the foot with that repeated line of his lolllll.

Now that I think of it…they should give credit where credit is due ….the insane editing and attention on the part of TB fans also gave Murtasim this level of fame. Some of his scenes were ok but when fans made so many amazing compilations and edits, and very generous explanations for his character etc. it just took his scenes to another level. For example, his running with the shawl scene in the darga was good but I also found his galloping kinda funny and weird. But after seeing the chunari edit I was like wowwwww he’s so good. Also… Nooran wrote the shawl stuff specifically in the script…that was not his doing although he carried it off well. But sorry, many can carry a shawl well 🤷‍♀️ if their character is written with that shawl. His slow mo fan edits… they brought out so much that the regular screen couldn’t show. So much of this trending is literally because of his TB fame and fandom. They were trending for his TMK movie even without seeing it, even in India where it’s not playing lol…so it’s not all because of how well he performed in it.
So yeah, the more I think about it, I can totally see why TB fans could be annoyed by her seemingly ungrateful or non-acknowledging comments.

Like Sana, Mehewish , Yumna too said almost the same thing. Talking about DNUTN, Yumna said that Wahaj was too focused at that time. You can see this in a BTS video of Hassan's show. It is available on YT.

No one is denying the amount of hardwork he has put in the last few years but most of the people got to know him due to TB. They got attracted watching Meerasim edit, as you rightly mentioned, on insta.

This whole thing has unnecessary initiated fan wars, which could be easily avoidable. And his wife's answer will not change the behaviour of these fans rather it will invite more negativity for all of them, including Yumna who was always a supportive professional co-actor for Wahaj, in my view.

P.s- I don't know why I quoted your comment but I liked the way you mentioned the fan made edits. Yes, they played a huge role in the success of TB.

When it comes to writing abuse, the writers are like these things happen in reality. But when it comes to showing a woman choosing love over marriage they don't write it. This thing also happens in reality. But it is very convenient of writers to write things to show reality selectively.

Maheer Kaunsi blessing hain jiske Milne / Na Milne pe zindagi Badal jayegi but I would prefer no ladki milna over better character any day!

Haider's looked like he was infatuated bcz ek young ladki ko he sees and bas is mesmerised
