The success of TB is hard to measure. I have to say the success of TB, or more particularly the popularity of Meerub, Murtasim should be credited to Yumna, Wahaj and the director Siraj ul Haq.

I also feel the writer was successful in establishing her characters but she didn't understand what to do after that. We all are/were invested in the show, this is a huge success itself.

I guess they were not ready for this kind of success. They never imagined it. They made a mediocre show with mediocre script but good actors (who were good at acting but not that popular).

It was the viewers who made TB , a blockbuster show.

I can see yumna wahaj are completely tight-lipped about TB. I am waiting to see their interviews after 6th July.

And a large part of the society including educated people don't take MR seriously. And in addition to that the script was written by NM.

In an episode of kya drama hai, the host mentioned he talked to Bushra and Wahaj to get better insights on Merub's character which most people were finding confusing. He said Bushra and Wahaj told him that Merub's reactions sometimes appear so extreme and not commensurate with what transpired before because there were many slap scenes in the script which Wahaj refused to do. So the slaps were taken out but Merub's reactions were not changed, and she was still reacting as if she had been slapped.

This shows how sloppy production and direction were. One actor is tweaking his character and scenes which impacts other characters and story line but no one was taking ownership and accountability over the rest.

Even Sabeena said she refused to do many slap scenes.

When you hear ivs of senior actors, they say 20 30 years ago, the script was the bible - it was followed to the letter. These days given inexperienced writers and weak writing, bohat saare scenes on set banate hain. Nooran wrote episodes which were 60-70 pages long and could not have fit one filmed episode - this is the mark of an inexperienced writer. In many ivs, we hear complaints that digest writers are being asked ti write scripts when they have no knowledge or training of the medium. With such weak dificult to film scripts, Rubina has also said that seasoned directors tend to fix/adjust 50-60% of the script in shooting. She has consistently called out Siraj for not fixing loopholes in script as that is what is expected of directors these days.

Bold . See, I don't trust ehen someone says he talked about this or that. Coz we know how show bizz is. We may agree Pak is different but the media us still the same. They will just tell what they feel important without telling the context or what the other party said next. So how will we know without knowing the entire thing. If there was an iv or some session where the person spoke we may judge it on that basis. We can see people highlighting only words from a said line these days.
