Haya’s backstory is simple, and they’ve conveyed it much better than they did for MK.

She’s an orphan, taken in by the Khan family. She was given everything; love, care, wealth. But still, she didn’t belong there. To gain a sense of belonging, she wanted to establish her position, and way to it was MK.

The belonging part was shown well in the show. Whether it was Meerab, MK or Maryam, they were treated with more strictness and tighter rein and accountability. They are the pillars of their khandan, not Haya.

In the initial epis, MB even tells Maryam that she’d have killed Maryam had she attempted anything that Haya did. Haya gets a pass because she does not represent the khandan-she’s invisible.

Haya’s character outline is good. But the writer did not develop it well, and instead made her a lame, caricature of a villain. And Sabeena is not a good enough actor to overcome the flaws of writing. She turned this cartoonish villain into a comical one. Other than a few instances, she failed to bring in the character’s layers in her portrayal. Haya should have been played by a good actor. Show would have been better.

My grandparents were the kind of people who took in any family members in need and took care of them as their own. Even in Canada, my parents opened up their home and provided financial support for years to family members that emigrated here. There were times that some even acted quite unreasonable but my parents would tell me to ignore it, they’re going through a lot. It was ingrained in us to tolerate a lot from family members less privileged than us. I think that’s what happened with Haya. She’s always gotten away with a lot because they feel a sense of responsibility towards her. They never wanted her to feel like an orphan. They clearly let her get away with too much.

1. She called herself Ma Begum ki nand ki beti in the scene when MB is telling Haya that Naurez wants to marry Marium instead,
2. In the scene where Marium slaps Haya, we learn both of Haya's parents died in an accident.
3. We have heard it said more than once that Haya is an orphan (yateem)
4. We have heard MB (and Haya) say that Haya was raised by MB.
5. We have Marium talk of her relationship since childhood with Haya in the scene where Marium is asking MB to bring Haya back from her exile in the gaon.
6. We get some snippets of dialog on her past relaysh with MK (before he gave up photography)
7. We know she is not interested in pursuing studies further.

Ab aur kitni backstory chahiye,

I didn't understand no.6(IN BOLD)was there a relationship between murtasim and haya before he gave up on photography❓

Aise hi khayal aaya. May be the channel don't care abt TB that much. Entire internet outrage after 46 wala promo. Then pemra notice came. And producer himself has to give statement that we should watch till the end. Even some reviewers changing the way they speak abt TB. The way episodes being dragged with all fb's. The way the promos are being made. Deliberately they are giving promos with murtasim being the focus and in not so good way. Second last ep ka promo was too bland. Just that we got memu in a frame after so long we got so excited. Now this. Last ep one. They don't seem so excited abt TB now. 🧐🧐🧐

I have my suspicions , why the heck is channel letting this happen , is the real point! What benefit do they get from this? By making audience furious , it couldn't even be buildup for getting views for last episode since they are not promoting finale , its like they are literally abandoning tere bin n dusting it off. It's more like envy why this project got to popular, it's just weird to me
