What i feel just my POV murtasim might react seeing meerub push. As in the promo nothing is clear...but the track record is so bad for this show whenever we predict something different happened.

I sure hope it turns out that Murtasim did rush to the child or something, after that push. Otherwise you’re right… a child gets pushed, any child, and people are just standing there??? It’s really a disgusting thing to show otherwise.

I also felt his expressions were off - I am just hoping it’s because he knows more than he’s showing us and that’s the reason. Like you said - we are purposely not supposed to know. I hope!

Okay so I must admit I haven’t been on here for a while as the plot was all over the place. But having read the comments in the last few threads I agree with those on this forum that believe Murtasim had a plan. That’s the only explanation as to why Murtasim is acting so aloof and not reacting more to seeing Meerab and baby after such a long time. Even when Haya was screaming and pushing everyone in the promo he just stood still and let her dig her own grave.

Perhaps like many of you predicted, he did actually know that Meerab was with Farouk, and paid them to look after her. After all we saw the flashback about her speaking about mohabbath and Ishq and how true love had to be earned. So maybe Murtasim realised she needed space as well as to struggle on her terms to eventually understand her love for him and to return to him when she was ready. Both him and her needed to feel the pain of separation in order to feel they deserved to be together. Am I making sense or has TB fried my brain ? 😕
