I guess it was to enhance the tragic effect of Sai's life. She's imagining that everything has become fine. The hijack problem is over. Now the time has come for them to finally find happiness they have been running away from, when they get off the plane, it would happen. Sai and Virat have been away from each other for too long. Once they get off, they will get married with everyone's blessings. A dream that couldn't get fulfilled. As they are going to be together in some other way😭

They could have given in reality too. With a small and simple remarriage of Sairat but yeah frustrated makers for their ship couldn't sail, they ended their iconic ship brutally

Exactly. That's what other shows do. Show a happy reunion and then a tragic end for the lead pair. But yes, Vankar always wants to be different.

They would have lost nothing in fact people would have been curious to see what happens to their children.

Plus, they would've got good will for the next gen leap.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have a few dream sequences and / or conscience sequences planned out to keep the Sairat factor on the radar post leap.

I feel the same . Channel is forcing them else they would have given last 1 min scene . I hope the new generation is spared from all these dramas .
