If Murtasim was not the hero then I would also think that he loves Haya.

- Letting Haya sit on the bed and was ready to be fed by her hands.

- Clearly not setting boundaries with Haya.

- Not telling her off sternly.

- Always trusting her.

- Not confronting her and telling her off after she created misunderstanding during the accident track.

- After that, even without her asking him forgiveness sincerely he was ok with her.

- Not saying a word even after knowing that Haya made Meerab fall from the stairs. And talking to her normally after this incident.

- In Naurez issue, trusting her over Meerab.

- Not confronting about the back hug and telling her off after the back hug became a reason for the argument between him and Meerab and ultimately it became the reason for Meerab leaving haveli.

- Not telling Maa Begum about Haya's back hug.

All these things indicate that he loves Haya which he is unaware of.

Some more points

- To prove innocence Meerab needs to jump off the building but Haya needs to swear on her head - Rules of Murtasim for Meerab and Haya.

- In Gajra's scene, all he cared was about Haya's feelings and not Meerab's who was getting humiliated in front of him by Haya.

- In Mariyam-MZ track, he was ready to leave Meerab at mid night in front of Waqas and Anila's house but did not even confront Haya about why she did not stop Mariyam and tell her about MZ and why she did not show the video immediately and waited to show it. If not at that moment he could have asked her after some days.
