Meerab lied about being unmarried and then justified leaving her husband and family only because she thinks nobody cares for her. That's self-victimisation.

She assumed her dad(waqas) isn't going to help only because the outcome earlier wasn't according to her wishes, whereas during mariyum fiasco he took her cause with the khan family. IMO that's selective blindness.

Murtasim also said he'll support her passion, and studies requested her to understand him, support him and be there with him. She didn't trust him even to the extent of the trust she had for MZ aka Anas. That's due to her resolve of holding grudge for the forced marriage.

The first time I heard her ponder was only yesterday. 🤔 "AM I doing the right thing by keeping meesam away from murtasim and family" even then she's drowned in her thoughts of supporting how they're going to question Meesam legitimacy.

She never dared to go back to murtasim the minute she heard about her pregnancy. Living with strangers as a financial burden is OK for the self-respecting meerab but it's never OK to adjust with her loving life partner or parents who have brought her up despite not having any bloody relationship.

I agree about her apprehensions about haya and MB taunts which house doesn't have problems. Even at workplace we go through so many adjustments sometimes with tact other times with patience because the earth isn't flat and everybody isn't alike. We all know that, but meerab is made less pragmatic. Life isn't about wearing a pant-suit and standing for a pov. It's about fighting for that. I see meerab lacking maturity and pragmatism.

I can't support immaturity because not supporting is the only way we can get rid of it.

The forced marriage clouded her judgment so much that she couldn’t see that eventually she had that support. She would receive more and more support from Murtasim if she didn’t break his trust with the Mariam thing. He made mistakes too so I’m not absolving him of anything but he changed a lot for her. He screwed up with Haya stuff.

I think the baby is making Meerab put someone else first and that in itself will probably mean some growth on her part. Also I was thinking about it and she probably knew about the wedding before crashing it. What does it mean? She is there to work it out with Murtasim or does she just want to tell him about his daughter.

I feel like Murtasim has always been about being taking care of people and that in itself can be problematic, because he was soft on Haya for this reason. Meerab on the other hand was used to being taken care of and took it for granted.
