i think they were trying to remind the viewers (for the 10000th time) that they were middle class people with limited financial and material needs..i don't know.. mum's like isn't she going to a joint family think they would already have pots and pans lol

ever since mum went back to her home, i haven't been watching pakistani shows because its not the same without her .. i've been binging non desi shows...

I guess he had a good PR but that divorce and the drama after that kind of blew everything up.

He definitely seems to be influential as well.

It's rumoured that he used to abuse sajal as well and everyone in the industry knew that and some guy indirectly took a dig on him for being an abuser and hitting his wife way before his divorce happened.

He kept getting lead roles in an industry that gives uttermost importance to looks. Only nepo kids or people with inside connections can be average or below average looking and get lead roles in pak dramas and bollywood. Outsiders don't have the privilege. They all have to be above average to beautiful and attractive to make it to the lead role. Wahaj or bilal would have never made it into lead roles if they weren't good looking enough. Saba and sajal have to work their ass off and prove their worth before being considered good enough to be part of big projects even though they both are very beautiful whereas durre who is neither a very attractive looking one nor a good actress gets lead roles opposite danish and Bilal in highly anticipated projects without proving anything.
