Producers always have a hand in what does and what not I think. Because ultimately they are the ones who are producing it with their money.

I feel that the ring of power doesn't hold much value for Murtasim as it does to others. We have been shown again and again the importance of the ring through 3 women in the khan household - Maryam, Haya n MB. Not even a single scene of Murtasim talking about it. This is what made me feel, the ring is significant for his khandan but not him. Currently he is holding on to it bcoz its his wife's possession. But if he has to choose between the ring and Meerub, he would choose the latter. Meerub also doesn't seem to be fascinated by this ring like Haya and Mariyam. Hence, for meerasim the ring is just an ornament.

The chain however does have a role to play I guess. When Mee was struggling to untangle it, Mu helped her even though she didn't want his help. So Mu will always try to untangle the mess even if Mee doesn't want him to. In the future episodes, the chain which was given to SB might play a role in bringing meerasim back together.

@bold- completely agree.. these are nooran's characters and this is her writing. I can only analyse the scenes and try to understand her characters.
