I kinda was disappointed in today's episode as I kinda was expecting Yuvika to perform the final rites. I wish Bhumi took a stand. I know each family dynamic is different wherein there are families that have the male members perform the final rites but there are families which allow for the female member to perform the final rites too. 😕Arjun insisted that Yuvika perform the final rites but Mahajans folks being their typical behavior.

Now Idk if the track was supposed to be like that or was changed last minute to avoid backlash of hurting Hindu sentiments or whatnot. But would've liked to see progressive approach tbh. 😕

Yuvika doing the Antim Sanskar would be too easy and fast IMO. It can't be this easy. That's why the fight. Even in Mahabharat the kids when they grew up had to prove themselves who is better suited. And that's the problem with most of Indian audiences. Unko aadat nahi hai aisa Slow Burn ka. And as far as i know Swastik doesn't have this habit of changing tracks randomly.

Contrary to others I liked the episode. They are going exactly according to MB. the only ones I am yet to find a reasoning is Kartik and Subhadra.

Also it's Mahajans, everything is in public eye. Yuvi gives the Mukhagni, becomes a news and spreads like wildfire. People question a lot. Affects thier reputation and image. Many people might even ask then why DJ as CEO and not yuvika? Suppose they even make her that but what after? Where is the struggle? she is very very raw. She needs to be battle hardened. Itni aasani se kuch nahi mi lega. At the moment Yuvika is just an unstable mess with a brilliant mind and memory power. She is distracted and that's where she needs the guiding figure of Shri Krishna.

Abhi to story set hua hai.

As for the traditions part, i have seen girls doing it but only when there is no male member in the family.

Bhumi wont take a stand until she sees the condition of her kids in Mahajan mansion.. when they will be made to feel like they r unwanted she will support Yuvika i feel.

Bhanu love Prem's kids but he is bound by traditions (like Bhishm) so i dont think he will hv much say in that matter but he will protect his kids for sure.

It will not be easy for Yuvika to get her rights.. it was not for Yudishthir either even being eldest.. here Yuvika is not eldest and also a female
