Yes, I would like it to be a plan too, but he looks pretty dead and resigned here. Which makes me kinda resigned to the fact that he’s dead to me as well lol. I will leave it as pleasant surprise/twist if something else happens. Oh, how I didn’t want it to be the typical “resigned” marriage scenario and other lead shows up… but sigh.

So I’m going strictly by the promo here just to share some thoughts:

At first I was understanding with Murtasim moving on as Meerab ran away and left him (don’t love the idea but understand). He knows that she left on her own and she never told him that she loves him before leaving. I did have a problem with him marrying Haya though. But it seems like he isn’t remarrying because he moved on but marrying out of pity? MB looked pretty happy too so maybe she needs some help to care of her duties. Whatever the reason, it’s not for love or lust. I also don’t believe this means that he was lying every time he said he doesn’t see Haya that way and could never marry her even if Meerab wasn’t in the picture. I believe he truly meant that. If you look at how he treated her before marrying Meerab, you can see that was never interested. I hate that it’s happening and I’ll probably hate the reason but it isn’t for love or attraction, that much I’m sure of. He looks like a zombie when he agrees and at that small clip of the engagement.

His half dead look makes me think it’s not for revenge or some master plot either. Revenge doesn’t make sense because how would Meerab even know about this and suffer. It would make more sense for him to marry her in front of Meerab if it was for revenge. Plus if he thinks she ran away, wouldn’t he assume that she wouldn’t care anyway? I would love for him to be planning something to get Haya in the end but looking at his state, he doesn’t look capable at the moment to come up with a clever plan. Also he would have to accept that Haya is evil first to even come up with a plan. Unless something comes up that makes him believe Haya said something to Meerab to make her leave, but they seemed to have scrapped that scene. Also he’s completely ignored the hug and it’s role in completely pissing off Meerab so what would be his motivation to plan something against Haya?

Also does anyone else feel like they stretched the last few episodes so much but are barreling through to this engagement so fast? Not that I want them to stretch this but it seems to be happening so fast.

I understand why Meerab left, there was a lot going through her mind, she kind of snapped so I’m empathetic to it. I agree though that she’ll be angry about the Haya thing and he’ll be angry about her hiding his child from him. They have a lot to work out. I do think Murtasim’s love was real and that he still loves her even with this agreeing to marry Haya thing. I also think Meerab’s feelings for Murtasim will get stronger and stronger during this separation. Hopefully they will be able to work things out. But at the moment, they’re both being dumb.

Meerab is stupid for sure.

But whole story was on Murtasam POV and his Isaq.

he has all the right to move on bcs meerab left him for no obvious reason and that to for so long.

A normal person will move on.

If he is marrying Haya it means he is 1000% sure , she had no play in meerab going away . Even the hug was not the issue, it was all meerab fault

Haya is the one asking him to marry her even if he can not be hers. It’s clear from that line that he doesn’t love her, won’t truly be hers and Haya is fine with it. Also I don’t even want to consider the physical relationship part 🤮

Even if they wanted that trope

They could have showed MB forcing him to marry

Or anything

But they are showing he is marrying to give haya happiness

To justify that they are giving special scenes like

Haya staying whole night waiting for him

Serving him food

Talking to him how much they all need him

If doing all these enough for him to say ok for marriage to her by forgetting whatever she did, by forgetting how he called her sister type then how could one belive his words about love are true.
