If the marriage is already suffering from trust issues and without a solid foundation, it wouldn’t be that unusual to believe that your partner is with someone else. I don’t think it matters if it’s a man or a woman. Murtasim shouldn’t believe that Meerab is with Rohail. He obviously should trust her and that’s the foundation of a healthy relationship. They don’t have that at the moment and they definitely have trust issues.

Meerab didn't thought he is with other woman until he himself said I can be with whomever I want by implying he is with other woman to make her jealous
Infact no one in the fd had any problem with him staying outside of the house whole night
Because HE IS MAN, he don't need to give explanation too.
Meerab didn't left the house out of no where suddenly
She left him after having fight & sex with him because of HAYA
So logically one would think haya is reason behind her disappearance
One would think she didn't had the need to come to his home ,have sex with him if she wanted to run away with rohail
One would think his reason to not face her post consummation might be reason for her too for leaving him to not face him.
Even if we leave all that. He can think of POSSIBILITY of her being with rohail but he was damn sure that she is with rohail & letting everyone think the same.
