I reiterate I can't comment on the episodes until I watch them and I will watch only when the brighter phase begins, hence can't comment on the accusation scene episodes except talk about my earlier observations.

@purplei know . I agree. Murtu the mahan is just not it. Both are faulty but meerab being a girl and indirectly forced into the marriage should be understood by other girls at least given we're all south Asian or south Asian descendents knowing our culture and history. Not everything is directly forced. You can pressure one to do anything indirectly by taking away or threatening to take away shelter and food and many other things!

Also we have to take into account the horrid back and forth character writing and in that case everyone is a little wrong and little right. But still morally there are somethings that can never be argued no matter how screwed up the writing is 😆

Leaving characters & show

It angers me seeing posts that a girl left the house so it's understandable for everyone to think she ran away with other man even if there are no proofs to think like that.

Would people say same if a man leaves the house. Never.

I am not defending meerab because I like her, I am defending her because her character faced injustice due to mysogyny both on show & offscreen

People can understand murtasim marrying behen jaisi cousin

But can't understand why meerab couldn't forgive the people who did wrong to her, who turned her life upside down in a single day

Why she can't believe love of the person who doesn't stop his obsessed cousin's advances

Why she doesn't accept the family where she is both mentally & physically harmed

He is going on & telling everyone about rohail without any proof by hiding about haya hug, calling his wife bewafa infront of the people who is character assasinating her

But he is saint.

Whereas meerab is evil for hiding about baby. The baby who wouldn't have come to the world had meerab didn't bear pain for months.

The fact is that this drama is pro Murtasim at least in the initial episodes. The makers set the bar high for Murtasim and the focus was on Murtaim's love towards Meerab. I said it in one of my posts that the makers always highlighted Meerab's faults and didn't highlight Murtasim's faults. They brushed Murtasim's faults under the carpet. Most of the viewers take the drama on face value and they don't analyze the characters. So for most of the viewers the reason for watching Tere Bin is Murtasim's character and particularly his love towards Meerab. If they see that Murtasim's love is not what he claimed it to be they react and it is happening now. Murtasim marrying Haya is unsettling for most of the viewers because they have expectations from Murtasim and they didn't have expectations from Meerab.

I think this is the point where TB divides into two sects.

One that wants to question why and how the murtasim we were presented with can behave like this?

The other is the one that accepts any thing from murtasim with a hope that NM has a reasonable explanation for his behavior and it will all resolve

But there are some factual truths:

When we question murtasim and how his arc now ping pongs we have to remember NM is one of the worst write in history (I'll take the liberty to say it). She writes every chapter in a way that it's disconnected. But as viewers they cheated us with their promotion of murtasim. There are characters that go from grey to good or good to grey but the story is not as such. We're not idiots as to not understand that !

Second one where people are always making excuses for him. Well, NM can't come up with good twists. This is who he is or was always. And lots of people are just in love with him and can't bear to see him in bad light 😉

DNUTN's starting theme 'mera rasta taake hain Chan sapne aao neendo se yaari krle' is so beautiful! It gives me hope!

MK had no idea of her parental backstory when he was provoking her to take a stand against the marriage.

She herself was showing him attitude that she will rather die than marry him, so he said go ahead and stop this marriage.

Once he learnt about the backstory, he immediately soften up and tried to help her.

I know, in ideal world/story we don't want MK to bring Rohail in the picture at all, but Nooran's world is anything but ideal. She is making it impossible for us to like anyone in her story.

Give few more episodes and she will give us reasons to dislike Farrukh and even Meerab's diabetes inducing fairy god mother-father.

🤣🤣this us absolutely right. There is no way she will keep any one have a sane character. In the starting we were all like Maryam acchi bacchi hain. She is too good. Then bam. Acchi bacchi ko kya kardiya.

So no hopes. Just go with flow. One ep one is good then next other person..that's it.

well, yes they did that but they also redeemed themselves. For Maryam’s ruksati they took a strong stand and said they will not let her go it was her who rebelled and left with mb. Waqas and anila were in a position to have a strong say and not letting meerab go. And meerab is no abla naari. She has taken enough stands for herself. Waqas was miserable and she saw that and refused to talk to him. Imo you can’t ignore their love for 25 years for one incident.

mariyam case waqas felt she was wronged so he stood up ! But now if she says am confused abt my feelings for him and i consummated and am all over place so I need time ! Will they understand !?

Half of educated girls out there are not able to understand Meerub having identity crisis and is not able to grapple with situation and that is why she left !
They would rather believe MR or Affair or F****** hug as reason for her leaving but doesn’t want to believe a women can walk off when she is having identity crisis ? I mean this issue is real which most women face and deal with differently! The show has been rubbing Meerub consent on our faces since marriage , the consent here is her acceptance of marriage and willingness to wife not sex !
