I think that's the point of the movie. I read up on the movie and the plot is that she wants to be an actress and she thinks he'll be a good stepping stone as he's already in the industry so she agrees to the marriage and then runs away after marriage for an opportunity. Then the rest of the story goes from there.

Basically they'll fall in love and she'll settle down like a good housewife. Her dreams can go to hell. End of movie. 🤔

It's good but God, such a beautiful, young girl kissing an old, ugly man makes me want to puke. On top of it she has a baby face and looks underaged .

this is the gross part when i think about the age difference 🤢 plus they could have cast someone slightly older and the story still would have worked. an older, unmarried woman can dream of being an actress and use him as a stepping stone to leave her small town and get into the industry. it'll be the same story but the pairing would be less gross 😆

I feel like they already tried that with that Athiya-Nawaz movie. I forget the title now. But there was one where they had Athiya basically do the same thing but it was to get out of the small town or something. 😆

that's the movie that popped up in my head when i started typing out my post😆 it's a generic story and since they have already done it, this movie was kinda unnecessary, especially because nawaz is in both of them

Yeah that movie didn't work though, so maybe they're hoping this one does. Avneet does have a bigger fan following. Plus Kangu will definitely do some antic before release - first time anyone has thought of this concept. 🤣
