You are right this show was supposed to be on PV concept but later they changed the plot and decided to go with a new plot based on friendship. But these things were pre-planned n before the starting of the show. Bringing a new ml for maitree was never their plan 🙂 par trp k liye karna padha

I know there were speculations about it being PV 3 but none of the actors or production house said so.. I think people assumed that because it was 1 ML and 2 FL. Namish also said in most his interviews that it’s about a guy and girl who are best friends and it’s about proving that they can be friends and don’t have to have a love angle even when they were bringing up Nandish. I doubt they will do the PV route now. Harsh was probably added to but some time to deviate the story but his character has caused so much buzz and his pairing with Maitree is loved too so I don’t think they will rock that boat now by breaking them up and pairing Maitree with Ashish .. just my speculation who knows what the writers are thinking

Does Harsh have more fans than Ashish? I think the future story depends on that

Namish -shrenu would hv made a hot pair. How we wished them to be the endgame. Bhaweeka is also looking good with him and their chemistry is excellent, only thing have made nandu as a vamp. Even if they redeem her it will not be accepted because she crossed all her limits. We got initimate scenes between them after nandus return but ashish didnt come out of his maitree jaap.

Nanthu who just sacrificed his red rose that too Ashish gifted her to maitree and these three is always together in every situation but all of a sudden dey just changed her character made her a enemy of maitree🙄

Yes that’s exactly what happened in this case. Samarth is very new compared to Namish.. Namish is a seasoned actor and is more popular. I know I have seen his work from before Maitree and I dont watch all shows just some. Especially all Shrenu’s shows I watch and I still knew who Namish was.. Samarth I had no clue but because he is the hero of main FL we all fell in love with him. The blame of that goes to writers. I was all Maitrish…. But the tracks ans the way friendship was shown just made it very difficult for me to imagine them as couples.. although they should have been a pair from the get go

I don’t want to offend any Ashish fans but the show has trended at least twice (probably more I forget the count) since Harsh’s entry. But that being said it’s because we saw him as Maitree’s love interest. Ashish and Maitree were never shown in that light but we had hopes they might end up together for the sake of Nandish— and that Nandini might leave Ashish after suspecting an illegitimate relationship between him and Maitree. That track never happened and it was more and more apparent that Ashish and Maitree are not a pair. Also, the writers left nothing exciting for Ashish to do.. let’s see what they have up their sleeves now. But from the looks Harsh definitely has fans rooting for him because of Maitree… Ashish and Nandu have fallen apart and there is no one to ship Ashish against plus he is not getting the track to be on the screen long enough to be talked about
