Reading on Twitter that Maharani herself takes Dhruv to prison to do treatment of an inmate (who happens to be Dhruv's uncle-father) 😲

Ye Tara kyu tad rahi hai Dhruv ko aur phir bhag gayi ki kahi Dhruv dekh na le🤪

So, theory...

1 Dhruv makes his uncle-father okay

2 Tara falls in love, but doesn't say it to him.

3 The day she wants to, Dhruv's uncle-father sees the photograph and tells Dhruv the truth.

4 Angry Dhruv runs away (either back to the 21st, or is roaming in the 17th)

5 Tara is left semi-shattered, and that's when the talk of the Senapati marriage comes in, and that portrait is made.

You could alternately replace point 2 with Tara telling him, Dhruv acknowledging it, then talk of a possible marriage, and Dhruv backing out at the last moment after the photo revelation.

Or EK style Dhruv deciding to marry and take Tara to the 21st century, but doing the same to her that was done to his father-uncle. This would be very uncharacteristic of green flag dude though.
