True. I don't even feel that murtasim let meerab and us down. Nothing more he could do after dropping everyone who adored him six foot down. But he showed early signs of being dismissive of meerabs concern of haya, not taking charge of MZ situation, his sister, being involved in the house dynamics. What did you make of Meerab’s dialogues today about a middle person in a relationship. I mean, on its own it absolutely makes sense and I would have understood her leaving right after she saw the Haya huh. However, I didn’t buy that part at all coming right after the consummation. She was so upset by Haya being in the middle that she just magnetically flew into her husband, undressed, and had sex with him?
Also, why did they only show her having flashbacks about the negative parts of the night, but not the part where she willingly wanted her man so badly that she broke the contract herself? 🤪And also, the parts where she was being supported by Waqas after being thrown out.
Do they both have amnesia that comes and goes? It’s like the sex part never happened. How does something as big as that get conveniently ignored???!!!

Meersb is Dil ki sachi. She's just loud at unjust behavior. And sometimes a little over impulsive. I understand her completely. She boils over at double standards. Yes, her huge flaw is her over impulsive take but she doesn't deserve a terrible consequence for it

I am actually done with endless justifications for him regarding haya
For me murtasim is selfish to the core here
He didn't care how his actions with haya will hurt his wife despite she getting hospitalized because of his cousin, he didn't care how his leeway will increase orphan haya's obsession that can ruin her own life too.
What if wife gets harmed
What if cousin develops more obsession
Enjoying attention is important
Now too the way he is declaring everyone confidently that meerab ran away with rohail as if he saw her running away with him is disgusting
Being insecure is one thing
But tarnishing a woman character infront of the world based on mere assumption is altogether different thing

Meerab regretted giving into her husband & breaching the contract because she thinks her husband cheated on her
The reason why she was ashamed of herself, why she talked about getting vulnerable for a moment
She left him because she thought he cheated on her with haya. That sex happened in heat of a moment which she regretted.
This is what I understood through those never ending voice overs. They may flip it again in next episode.
I don’t think he’s beyond redemption. He hasn’t actually done anything with her. People are already okay with Meerab going to Rohail’s place on her own because she’s not with him now. If Murtasim still manages to put Haya in her place towards the end, everyone will be fine. It’s always the last action that counts. The general audience lets the past go and concentrates on the present. His last action will be the most meaningful. Let’s see where this goes. I’m still hoping he won’t even consider marrying her.
