I had to watch the last part again to remember as I had only watched few bits and pieces before.
He asks that guy at the end if his Qaid is khatam and the guy nods yes and then tells him its of no use to return.
From what I understood, I think he freed Wahaj character but took away his child with his wife as the new gulaam.

One other thought I had was he had a child with Dilnawaz too and they left it that way to have a sequel where he wants to revisit the dark side to see his child.
Last episode main they also showed him in love with Dilnawaz too, so may be that's why they left it open ended like that...
