Maybe the scene was to show what would happen years later if the current status quo continues meaning Sai as Sathya’s wife meeting her ex husband.

On a serious note, Sai answered her inhibitions in the day before previous episode where she is scared what if the history repeats....then she wont be able to handle it. Will get totally broken. Hence wants to carry on the facade of marriage with Satya. Before Saiya marriage problem wasnt V ki past mistakes or Vinu ki happy family, issue was her fear to suffer again.

For her to think beyond two things need to happen - V going far away from her n Satya's changed feelings. Till now, for her the business deal is on.

Just wonder Sai thinks like her Satya is non-hormonal praani
