A - hey, so I did what you asked me
Ar - what's that?
A - I spoke to your mum and dad, and to Prithvi and Suhana and they've all agreed to let you go to Goa
Ar - what? thats great chachu! thanks!
A - yeah so I'm leaving you in charge....remember if something goes wrong, I'm being held responsible...don't let me down
Ar - sure thing chachu
Aryan hangs up and grins and rushes to inform the others.
Part 17
Aryan smacks the alarm clock to shut it off, he groans then looks at the time and sees its almost 8AM, he jumps out of bed and rushes to have a shower, he gets changed into a pair of faded blue jeans and a grey hoodie, he does a quick comb through on his hair then reaches out and grabs his fully packed bag and leaves the room. He goes to Roshni's room and knocks on the door
Ar - Roshni wake up, we're leaving
When he gets no answer he opens the door to find the room empty, he turns and heads downstairs where Roshni is already having breakfast with Sujal and Kashish, Aryan gives Kashish a hug and a kiss then sits next to Roshni and nudges her
Ar - why didn't you wake me?
R - oh sorry
Ar - never mind, pass me the cereal
Ka - cereal? have something proper, you're going to be driving for ages
Ar - I'll be ok mom
S - so are you going to pick the others up?
Ar - yeah, I'm taking the jeep so there's enough room for us and the bags
S - well make sure you take care of the others when you're there
Ar - dad don't worry, I'll have it all under control
Aryan finishes his breakfast then stands up, he gives Kashish and Sujal a hug then leaves the kitchen, Roshni finishes her breakfast and hugs Kashish then goes to hug Sujal, he kisses her forehead
S - take care of yourself
R - of course dad, I'll miss you both
Ka - we'll miss you too, make sure you call as soon as you get there
R - we will
Roshni hugs then both again the goes out into the hallway where Aryan is holding their bags, Kashish follows
Ka - do you have enough money?
Ar - yes mom, chachu's already made the reservations at the cottage where we're going to stay
Ka - ok, take care
Kashish gets a bit teary, Aryan sighs and puts the bags down and hugs her
Ar - ma, we're going to Goa, we're not leaving the country, we'll be ok
He kisses her cheek then lets her go and picks up the bags, Roshni hugs her again then both of them go out and sit in the jeep, Aryan and Roshni wave to Kashish and Sujal then Aryan drives them to Ria's house. They arrive and both go inside, they meet Prithvi and Suhana in the living room
Su - Aryan take care of them ok?
Ar - I will
P - and call us if anything happens
Ar - I will
Su - and don't let them do anything stupid
Ar - I will
P - what?
Ar - I mean I won't....so where are they?
R - I'll go get them
Roshni heads upstairs, she goes into Ria's room and finds her standing in front of the mirror doing her make up
R - Ria, are you ready?
Ri - yeah just let me finish this....there
She looks at Roshni and grins and gives her a hug, she then picks up her bags, Roshni looks shocked
R - you're taking that much stuff?
Ri - yeah I need my beauty things
R - ok then.....go downstairs, I'll get Tia
Roshni shakes her head and goes to get Tia while Ria heads downstairs, she meets Aryan in the hallway whose eyes almost pop out seeing Ria's 3 fully loaded bags
Ar - you're taking ALL of that?
Ri - yes
Ar - Ria....the car will just about hold all of our stuff...and thats if we take one bag each....you can't take all that
Ri - its my stuff I'll take it if I want to
Ar - its my car, I won't let you
Ri - MY stuff
Ar - MY car, you know what, if you wnat to take that go ahead....but you'll have to take a seperate car and find your own way there
Ria looks upset while Roshni comes downstairs with Tia, she puts her bag on the floor and looks at Ria
T - come on Di, I think you can manage without half of that stuff
Ri - but...fine
Ria sulks and takes her bags upstairs and after 10 minutes she comes back down with one bag, she shove sit in Aryan's hand, he laughs quietly to himself then picks up Tia's bag and heads outside. Ria and Tia hug Suhana and Prithvi and both roll their eyes when Suhana tells them what not to do, they hug them again and quickly leave with Roshni. Roshni sits in the front with Aryan while they sit in the two seats behind them. Aryan drives to Angad's house
Ar - you lot stay in the car, I'll go get them
T - but..
Ar - you can see your loverboy when he comes out
Tia blushes and sits abck in her seat, Aryan gets out and goes inside, he finds Kripa in the kitchen, he hugs her and kisses her cheek
K - I can't believe I let Angad talk me into letting my boys go away
Ar - boys? aunty your sons are 21....they're men
K - yeah to you, but to me they'll still be my boys even when they're old
Ar - ok....if you say so, so are they ready?
K - yeah they should be
Ar - I'll go get them
Aryan leaves the kitchen and heads upstairs where he bumps into Angad
A - hey Aryan, all set?
Ar - yep
A - you have the address of the cottage?
Ar - locked into my GPS
A - great.....remember what I said, don't mess this up, if you do the not only will Kripa never let the those two go anywhere again but she'll keep me locked up too
Ar - don't worry chachu....I'll handle it
A - good, don't let me down
Aryan hugs him then goes to get Karan and KK, he barges into their room and finds Karan sitting on his bed waiting
Ar - Karan, what you waiting for?
Karan nods to the bathroom, Aryan groans and bangs his fist on the door
Ar - KK get your butt out here now!
KK - 2 minutes
Ar - no, now or else I'll break the door down
KK sighs and opens the door and glares at Aryan, he pushes past him and grabs his bag
KK - lets go then
Aeyan shakes his head and follows KK and Karan as they go downstairs, they put their bags by the front door and hug Kripa
K - don't do anything stupid understand? and take care of the girls
KK - ok mom, chill
Kar - we will mom
They hug her again and hug Angad
A - take care, and remember to call us when you get there
Kar - sure dad
Aryan grabs the bags and heads outside, KK and Karan follow, Aryan puts the bags in the back
Ar - you guys are sitting in the back two seats
Kar - but I was hoping.....
Ar - to sit byTia?
Karan frantically nods his head, Aryan grins and puts his arm around his shoulder and makes Karan look at Kripa and Angad who are standing at their front door
Ar - so you want to sit by Tia? you want your parents to see you sit by her?
Karan looks at them then at Aryan and slowly shakes his head then goes to sit inside
Ar - thought so, sit in the back for now, we can switch around later, KK, Karan, I'm driving now, you guys can drive the rest
KK nods his head and sits in the car next to Karan, Aryan gets in the drivers seat, he grins at them all
Ar - so you all ready for the time of your lives?
The others grin and nod their heads, Aryan starts the car and they all wave to Angad and Kripa. Aryan drives off.
Ri - so how long is it going to take to get there?
Ar - according to my Sat-Nav....about 12 hours, that's if we don't stop, but we are going to stop twice so that I don't have to do all the driving and KK and Karan do some
R - so how long will that be?
Ar - lets say about 13 hours, you might want to read a book or something
T - 13 hours? what are we going to do in that time?
KK - I know what you and Karan will be doing once we switch seats so that you can sit together....that'll keep you guys busy
Tia blushes again while Karan smacks KK's arm, Aryan grins from the front
Ar - ok, I'll pull over here so you guys can switch seats
Aryan pulls over and they al get out
KK - who's going to sit where?
Ar - I guess we all know that the two lovers are going to sit right at the back, I'm driving so I'm at the front, KK you sit with me at the front, Ria and Roshni can sit in the middle....that cool with you all?
They all agree and get back into the jeep in the new seats, Aryan begins driving again. He glances at Tia and Karan in the back seats
Ar - oh and you two, no kissing while we're in the car, we don't need to see that
Karan nods his head, KK gets out one of Angad's CDs and puts it into the car's cd player, puts the volume up then sits back and relaxes. Ria and Roshni continue to talk about random stuff for a while but Roshni gets bored so she takes out a book, Ria sighs and gets out her magazines, and at the back Tia and Karan are busy taking and giggling with each other.
Coming up - The gang are still on the road......but at home....when the kids are away....its time for the adults to playđ
