Bold.. here I have conflicting thoughts. See we all knew how much of archaic family they are. But still Murtasim listened to Meerab when she said meet Anas. He even convinced maa begum to let anas parents come. Even if maa begum is reluctant she would've agreed if the mother of anas was a good lady coz we saw how she was contemplating after hearing Anwar. Anwar said something like you have promised your husband, is this how you keep that promise..something on that lines.

So to me they really took steps forward. Murtasim was ready to fight for Maryam when he said I won't allow the same to happen what happened with me. No one can force my sister. So they really cared for Maryam and they listened to Meerab too.

And after that too murtasim went to the brothel house. He came and told both Meerab and Maryam about it. But they were not listening. He even asks who is anas? Do these two girls have the answer apart from anas loving Maryam. I didn't hear them say any other reason. That itself is a red flag if you can count it.

So Meerab should've investigated about anas. Not just believing everything she sees. And with anas not even meeting the family how was Maryam so ready to elope. Your SIL is telling let anas come and meet family but no, she don't want to listen. And Meerab too doesn't force the matter. She is all about convincing Murtasim. Im like girl he is already convinced but first you bring the boy whom you are fighting for.

Now Malik zubair threatening. Murtasim was all about saving his family. He thought if everyone is in home then they are safe. How could he tell it was zubair's planning. This is true in both Murtasim and meerab's case. No one knew zubair will take this step.

The investigation part I feel Murtasim has more tools at his disposal to investigate than meerab ever had - if both his sister and wife are going cuckoo over this Anas, he should've investigated more especially when she came back and said there no brothel there - that should have rung some bells

Meerab did try convincing Maryam till the last minute to get Malik to come but Maryam was being well Maryam 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Meerab should have taken Murtasim under confidence esp after he had confessed his undying love and told him that his sister is on the verge on becoming next Usain Bolt but had she done that how will story move forward so pushed her under bus and made haya the driver.
