She never shy's away from taking stand when it comes to women especially when she herself is the victim. She doesn't fear to go against anyone even if it is murtasim.
But edited scenes, acting of leads, voice over gives the impression of MR.

Yes it would be out of character for Meerub to stay quiet if it was MR. They wanted to show as MR and then finally reveal it as No MR. But the execution after editing, made it worse with the scenes making no sense.
