Congratulations on the new thread 🥳
My MIL who also watches this show has an interesting take on the recent episodes ( She has no idea about offscreen dramas , trends, MR nor MR angle )..
She didn't feel anything weird about the edited episode and her explanation for meerub leaving MK is logical as per the story. Since the beginning of the episode meerub always resisted khan family's orthodox mentality . She even called them out for making a fuss about dancing with those girls just because they were poor and these were rich.. Even during Mariam track when Mariam told humare yahan khandan se bahar nikah nahi hoti, meerub told kya backward soch hei tumlogon ka..
It is true that she had finally started falling in love with MK , but she hadn't completely accepted him as her husband/love. So, when she consummated with him, she lost the only power she held and now consummation meant her accepting not only MK , but also the patriarchial society around her... Her monologue about giving punishment to herself also suggests the same...And she was not ready to go to waqas house because she knew ultimately MK and all others will bring her back to khan mansion..
So, general audience have no doubt regarding MR /No MR thing like we do? Is this how it is conveyed to trp audience?
How i wish they had written dialogues along those lines ...It would make more sense..
I would love to hear about this theory from you guys...
But,won't be able to reply for next 24 hours due to the post restrictions...
