Imran comes across as a wonderful person. He appears to be kind and respectful. That explains the industry's fondness for him. This makes it significantly more sad to see a good guy most likely going through some deep rooted issues. Wish he seeks help and comes out of it.
I have heard most of his female co-stars say good things about him. So he might be a good guy to work with. If he has personal issues then it's sad how it affected him.
I also get baffled on how everyone praises his looks. I dont find a lot of celebs good looking that other people find good looking but i get why other people find them beautiful like Mahira or ayeza or hania but i never understood the hype with his and feroz khan's looks. Both these guys creep me out. Imran for his looks and feroze just gave me overall bad vibes when i first saw him in gul e rana. It had nothing to do with his toxic characters since i never got that vibe from danish who plays equally toxic characters.
All this aside, i can't ignore the delusion with which he speaks sometimes and that too in a very non nonchalant manner. The hosts and interviewers also come across a lil odd when they lead him on with such questions. It amuses me unintentionally. 😆 From what i have gathered, Imran thinks highly of not only his "Beauty" but also his status quo in the industry, which sadly, right now, isn't very prominent, as it used to be at one point in time. For some odd reason, he is under the illusion that people perceive him to be as some natural beauty and he continues to speak about it with the same pretence. He will low-key boast that he is the first choice for every other project, particularly the popular ones that have come and gone by, and not forget to add that none of them were worthy of his attention (in case of Lollywood). Yet, all you have seen him do in the recent past is projects like Amanat, Ehraam E Junoon and telefilms which are nothing more than just roastable content. These projects dont even give the actor, the scope to perform nor do they make waves critically or commercially. Its just forgettable content, which wont leave any mark like the average shows that come and go. So i dont get it, when he goes on and about with his low key brags and low key condescending attitude. Although, i have to say, with 'Tumharey husn ke naam' he seems to finally have struck gold. It could very well change things for him.
When it comes to stars like Feroze or, more recently, Yumna, it is typically their fandoms who overhype and exaggerate their praise for their favorites, making them appear to be the most good looking individuals to exist in the industry. I associate performance but not beauty with Yumna. About Feroze, the less said the better. lol Each time he plays a positive charcter, im dubiously watching him, anticipating that he will turn negative any second. I guess, to our sixth sense, the positivity on him looks like a facade. 😆
